Dominic Miller is unbelievable. Beautiful ideas, never too much, amazing sounds all the way. I cannot stop listening to it.

He played this same medley in Costa Rica '94 when touring his Ten Summoner's Tales album.

I still remember some wonderful passages where Kirkland's signature sounded very clear. There are other videos of that concert at San Carlos de Apoquindo where you can see the eyeglasses of Kenny. James Taylor played before Sting at that concert. Unforgettable too. Everyone that was there remembers there was a delay in the arriving of the equipments from Argentina, therefore the concert began too late. Ended by ~3:30 a.m.

To saga 55. You're right and I am wrong. Sorry for insisting in my error. It's incredible the things that one remembers that haven't occurred.
Sancious is wonderful also and it's a really pity that we can't have anymore Kenny Kirkland. I was very far at the other side of the stadium, and perhaps elaborated of having heard live to the great Kenny Kirkland. Another personale urban myth under demolition, man..:-)

I suggest to you watching "a day in life" from the same concert in my channel , You will see It's not Kenny but David.
Kenny was in Estadio Nacional in 1990 , after that David joined Sting for soul cages tour and ten summoners tales tour (1991 to 1994). Kenny return was only after that for Mercur falling

Salió a tocar como a las 01.30.- Lo teloneó James Taylor y todo se había atrasado.

If it is a crap version, at least there were a couple of the finest musicians of their generation in their respective instrument: Kenny Kirkland at the keyboards and Vinnie Colaiuta at the drums. Demolition musicians, perhaps? Or maybe Sting was trying other variations to keep his compositions fresh... I understand the feeling when one hears a version without the groove one expects... Like hearing Clapton's version of Crossroads of the last ten years instead of the Cream version...
