Thanks for watching broski! Don't forge to smack that like as it really helps that all mighty algorithm! And make sure to let me know your thoughts on the game! I'd love to read it
Having a bad day one vid in from zlim and it's like I have taken some kind of happy pill! Appreciate your hard work and the entusiasm you share with us 💪🏻 ❤ broder tack! Önskar dig en grym kväll!
Hope tomorrow goes better for you, whoever you are. Maybe wanna join a stream, they're good for lifting the mood too. Not meaning to advertise, it's just a chill and nice time on streams 🙂
I thought you were going to make 3 flaps and I hold my Breath! Almost - Wishlisted and enjoying the vid! Great Work - Black Metal screams make it a must buy
This game looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. Gonna be a lot of nice intense combat videos made with these mechanics (and who knows what other mechanics will be added as well)
Why do people like that all neon color scheme? Sigh. Don't mind me, old man yelling at clouds here. Game looks fine for a non-public demo that is heavy worked on. Kudos to you, showing it off in a video as well. During yesterdays stream i noticed that it can play already incredibly smooth at some points during slowmotion. I'd probably tweak the heart out of the timing, cause i've also seen, that things like reloading and the animation for changing to ironsights get slowed down. I'd let that run in realtime/sped up by the slowmo factor/multiplicator, so the player doesn't do an ultracool 5 second shotgun reload.
haha I LOVE EM!!! :D Thanks joke and it's actually really good points! Maybe not have the player at regular speed, but at least not as slow as the slow mo itself, it really can ruin some awesome stunts at times!
bro love your videos, btw what headphones you use ? . Im looking at buying some open back or closed back headphones for gaming primarily single player games.
Thanks broski! For real gaming sessions I use the Xbox wireless headphones, they are the best I have ever used and I tried quite a few of them, so highly recommend them! Great noise canceling, superb audio and it's all super easy to tweak to fit how you want it. For more relaxed sessions I use some low budget that I can't remember the name of, and it dont say on them haha. But they are sooo comfy
Yeah, between the way the slo motion is implemented, the sounds the enemies make and the overall feel of the game - I'm super not feeling this one. Which is a shame because I love Neckbreak (which I didn't even know had been renamed/relisted under the new name now) for the most part. Ah well, it's early days so maybe the dev(s) can tweak some stuff to make it less obnoxious lol
I can totally buy that it's not for everyone, but if you like Neckbreak I'm confident you will vibe with this, it feels like a more evovled version of it :)
While the text at the beginning is rather beautiful in all its autistic detail :3, its also kinda autistic. Must have took years to embed all this text into your video, man. :3
The jumping and shooting moments look interesting, but everything else is disappointing. From the color scheme, from the heaps of neon, to the shooting, the interface and the intelligence of the enemies.
That's actually an interesting point. Some games make their gimmicks indispensable, and some do not. So not using something you don't like - is not always possible. A game designer would have to work twice as hard to make a feature AND make it completely optional at the same time. And by optional, i mean the player not using it would not have any detriment in fun-factor. That takes a serious amount of extra effort, which is not a given. Not a given at all.
@@HexenStar Its absolutley not given, but it's also a matter of personal preference. If here its optional and you think its more fun and challenging without the option is still there to skip it. But I might not think its more fun without it :) That said tho the slow mo has been tweaked. Shotgun reloads now dosent slow down as much as the rest so your not stuck in a 5 second slow mo reload scene.
@@ZlimBratSki I think you miss the point, Zlim. I was talking in general, not about this game per se. It's about game design strategy, not about the player skipping game options. I'll give you some examples: for starters - you can play a stealth character in Skyrim, but you can also choose not to and go for a totally different playstyle - and that will not be to the detriment of your gaming experience. Because, Skyrim was designed(!) with multiple playstyles in mind - and each one of them was designed not to eclipse another. Comparatively, in Thief: The Dark Project - you cannot play as some sort of swashbuckler, even though you do have a sword and can fight. You can try, lol, but you won't get far. Because, the game was not designed this way. It was designed with only one playstyle in mind. If you try to play Max Payne without bullet-time, - you'll find yourself in a highly unpleasant uphill battle which will not be fun at all. However, in Dread Templar - you can play the entire game without bullet time and still have the same fun and/or success. Again, because Max was designed for the player to use bullet-time and not any other way - with bullet-time being a central and quintessential game mechanic, while Dread Templar was designed for a multitude of playstyles, a lot of which do not rely on bullet-time at all.
Sadly the use of generative AI made me lose all interest. We have an abundance of riches in the genre. Some of these are fighting for survival. I'm not gonna give my time to someone using AI. I'd rather hear some amateur vocal work from a college student than GenAI. It's theft to make it, and it's lost opportunity for real people to get work and/or build credits and experience. Cause I know the argument of it being an indie game and limited budget etc.. The whole industry will have to be AI cause there will be no new actors after a while. Sorry not sorry. If the Dev changes things and removes the GenAI stuff and replaces the assets, I'll give it another look but as of now, this game is dead to me.
I 100% understand your point and I'm with you on it for the most part, but an insane amount of indie/AA/AAA games uses A.I for this or that now a days that it's almost impossible to avoid. Games used it even before Steam said it has to be stated. The thing with this game is that it is used for background things, nothing that is the core of the game. The game has still been developed and modeled by the developer. And while any form of generative A.I definitely drags it down for me this is not enough to keep me away from the game. But I respect your decision!
@@ZlimBratSki Deepvoice has been used for multiple ingame announcers(ie commercials, news etc) - Generic clip art asset generation is not a big deal I agree. But, The voice acting crosses the line for me, especially in light of the current strike. Just because it's Indie and not AAA and just because Other kids do it doesn't make it acceptable. It sucks cause I WANT indie devs to succeed and be hyped for them, but I'd be a hypocrite to yell about EA's "core business" but overlook others. Hopefully they plan to or change their mind to replace them with real actors later on and I think we should push for that.
@@MontroseChloe You have a good point with the deepvoice, there isnt any of it in the demo but hopefully the dev changes it mind on that and re do it with voice acting in the full game, amateur or not anything is better then. But again commercial and news announcers feel more like background things then anything else. Not saying it's ok, and I would rather see it not there than there. But we don't know to what extent it is right now so I'll leave future comments on it for when we know more :)
@@MontroseChloe interesting take, yet it is our reality now, and we have to cope with thecnology, we have in the pass, video didn't kill the radio star, it just transformed it.

Yeah I cant wait for the montages this game will bring forth 😁
Looks like Project Downfall (currently Breakneck) and Cyberpunk made a baby.
haha yeah spot on :D
looks like apex legends and Max Payne had one
Hearing the demo isn't out to the public was heart-breaking, haha.
Damn this looks fantastic!
Coming during Next fest so not too far off :D
Nice! Reminds of Out of Action, Sprawl, and the Vreski Games game.

Wow, this looks SO up my alley and had flown under my radar, great find! Definitely wishlisting, combat looks sick
Glad you like it! :D
The combat actually reminds me of Maximum Action.
reminds me a litle bit of turbo overkill with how the levels look
Yeah the dark neon filled environments sure has some turbo over it :D
A game where you can play tetris in it?
Aight, you have my attention.
Haha hell yeah
Looking forward to this one. I got a good feeling that it's gonna be a good and dirty romp. I'm a sucker for slomo gameplay mechanics.
haha same here, love me some slow mo! :D
You gotta cover this when it drops zlim. It looks like a total banger.
Og for sure Jack!

epic (the words roguelike and fps will always give good games)
:D
I don't know how, but this made me wonder: what if Doom Eternal had a turn-based combat...🙃
That would be something, it's not doom eternal but isn't there like a turn based mobile DOOM game or something like that? :D
Wohohoho this look interesting. Great news.
