Thanks for the video. Lived around Potts Point/Rushcutters Bay for 1 year in 2010/11 - Kings Cross look very run down now. Sad. Still have the nostalgia for those times in Sydney. All the best from sunny Ireland.
Most welcome. KX has changed a bit since 2010 but maybe looks a little more that way at lunch on a weekday than it actually is. Not much of a wild nightspot as much as it was - that's moved to King St, Newtown.
I am from the US and vacationed in Australia in early August. I stayed in Potts Point on Victoria Street during the Sydney portion of my Australia vacation - and walked around this exact same area. We ate at the Butler one time which we can see in this video. Walked down the stairs over to the Botanical Gardens and the Art museum among other destinations.
Hey, can you do a livestream of this years both, Sydney 9PM and Midnight Fireworks this New Years Eve? I really enjoyed last years livestream, I heard that for this year, the fireworks will be free for everyone and I also heard that the fireworks were causing too much air pollution but they said they will still have a show! Edit: Nice video btw.
Hi we will definitely be doing both sets of fireworks. It will be a standalone video that will start somewhere between 3pm and 6pm, and will capture both, on the same live stream. The normal static and moving livestreams will be on as per usual. haha thanks!
@@sydneylivecamera okay, that’s great, I’ll definitely be there for the livestream but I’m from Ireland so it might take me like maybe an hour or 2 to be there in the livestream, sorry for late reply btw!
This is interesting..it's been a long time since I've been to King's Cross...Glad to see the iconic Coca Cola sign is still there..How about a walking tour around Circular Quay, then to the Opera House.Think people would like to see the Opera House up close..and the walk from Mrs. Macquarie's chair to the Opera House..😁
Thanks Rafa, that's a good suggestion, through the gardens and emerging at the Opera House would be pretty enjoyable. From trees to buildings in one quick walk.
@@sydneylivecamera Last time I was in Sydney, I made sure I saw Mrs. Macquarie's chair..fascinates me, looks straight at the Opera House and Bridge coming back, think people will realise how big the Opera House and Bridge are up close..
It’s first time looking your walk, thank you therefore. But I think it’s really necessary using a gimbal for stability by walking. Do you know, when you will live walking next time? Greetings and thank you 😊from Germany 🇩🇪
@@dirkg.9178 Thanks Dirk! We will probably walk next once we buy a gimbal! Not too sure if we will do live walks - probably uploads. Live appeals but has some risk and technical difficulties.
Beautiful australia
Stayed at Potts point a fortnight ago . Thought Sydney were a fantastic city to visit .
Love to one day return .

Nice spot isn't it! The Butler has a nice deck with a great view. And yep those stairs are the pathway to the city!
Thanks for the walk tour, hope you do more around that area.
Thanks we’ll try and do a few more all over the place, including more in this area!
Thanks for the walkaround, it reminds me of my visit to Sydney in January.
Thanks Mick, good to know that a walking series like this could be a nice memory jogger.
Hello hello , can i suggest a historical building walkaround , seen some beautiful buildings on the moving live cam. Cheers for this one.
Thanks Rod, getting inside the old buildings is a great suggestion!

Interesting question - we’ll add temperature for future videos. Can’t remember exactly but probably early 20s, maybe 22 or 23 celsius.
Thats amazing 😊
Ну почти Британия, тротуары только не везде ровные!!!
Yes, but much sunnier!
@@sydneylivecameraНу да в Австралии я думаю что намного теплее, но я там никогда не был!!! Только через онлайн камеру!!! 😊
