The Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) was launched in 1995. It is a social security scheme by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). This scheme provides financial assistance to employees who have been working in an organized sector post their retirement at 58 years of age. But the scheme is only eligible for those employees who have been in service for a minimum of 10 years. This 10-year service may not be a continuous one though. In this video, we explain the various pension scheme benefits available to a PF member.

i madam, i worked in 3 company in last 7 year and opened pf account new everywhere. When i came to 4th one i transferred all my pf in 4th company by filling form 13. PF get transferred but what about EPS? Do i have to apply for scheme certificate and keep it for my record for all 1, 2 & 3 company??? EPS money in passbook not getting transferred.

Sir I am going retired on 30 november 2020. I Started my services from 01/04/1985. Through out my services I paid full contribution. Unluckly i did not get salary for APRIL 2020 (paid in May 2020). Also in May, June and July 20 contribution was 2% down according to government announcement. I want to deposit my contribution for APRIL 2020 and balance 2% for MAY, JUNE AND JULY 20. I was an EPS Membership for about 3.5 years but after resignation I have withdrawn all amount (zero balance) from EPS and EPF both for higher education. It's the membershi with EPFO..Nothing to do with the company.....Even if you work in some other company, your membership remains with EPFO.
