- Here's a very fun one during Johnny Olson's last months on the show before his unfortunate passing.
Pricing games:
*Clock Game
*Hole In One (Or Two)
*Bump (first playing!)
*Poker Game
*Money Game
*Balance Game (Old version; a little too hard to follow)

I miss bump and they should bring it back one day. 😀👍
Hmmmmm not politically correct
I love when Bob Barker talks to the audience after doing his bow when he says I thank You!!!!!
A month before Johnny Olson's final exit.
Yes 😔
That first showcase was amazing. My grandfather got a Chrysler Fifth Avenue in 1986. I mis-remembered it as a New Yorker until I double-checked it just now. Elegant car, in any event.
Glad David finally escaped contestants' row.
Thanks for posting these rare mid-80s TPIR episodes.
I remember seeing this in first run. When I was sick from school.
Such a strange show:
- A bumpless Bump
- A monumentally painful playing of the original Balance Game
- A Money Game winner who picks the back end of the price first
- A Clock Game player who's never seen it and was in no particular hurry
- A Poker Game winner who didn't know what she'd won
I've watched this show since forever, and never saw this game...but love it. RIP Johnnie Olson!
Johnny Olson
Although not this playing, somehow Bump eventually got shown on the Barker Era channel - the one from October 4, 1985.
And (as of now), they have since reinstated it.
Sound is much better than the 1988 video!!
RIP Bob Barker, Johnny Olson, Mark Goodson and Bill Todman!
Balance Game uno will be seen on PlutoBuzzr reruns this Fall if they continue into 1984
That previous saw the debut of Tom Kennedys TPIR, should've lasted longer
I want a few of those old Barker dollars from the Balance Game.
I expect this to be on the barker era channel in a few months.
Damn, that one showcase was off by exactly $1,000. Heartbreaking.
Sherilyn could' have easily won her showcase and had to be less than $100 away from the ARP to get "Both Showcases." A heartbreaking loss in this episode of one of Johnny Olson's last days on air.
Woah!!!!!!! That Camaro was only $9,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
17:23 The models didn't bump the prices, they push. And bumping so hard is called a BASH, then it wouldn't be a crash
The bumping was more fun.
It’s Bump’s 35th birthday!!!!
Bump was discontinued a while back
Yeh in 1993.
@@StLawrencePlace 1991 actually
@@YankeePat94 November 20, 1991, to be exact.
This Episode Of The 14th Season Premiere Was Skipped On Pluto TV
Notice at 40:15, when Bob Barker says "have your pet spayed or neutered" David suddenly covers his private parts.
Also for each of those 6 One Bid Prizes & 2 Showcases, I would have guessed the following.
Recliners: $1,340
Golf Clubs: $980
Lamps: $550
Replica Car: $1,190
Bar Set: $982
Luggage: $550
1st Showcase: $23,000
2nd Showcase: $13,500
I don't understand why they don't have Bump anymore. I thought that was a good game.
Do you have The Price is Right (January 7, 2000)-An exhausting Clock Game playing?
Do you have the season 13 premiere
You know I was looking for that other day. I could swear it was on UA-cam at some point, but if it was, it isn't now.
@@ajk its on mine
The day i was born
If GSN kept the rights and aired the bump episodes this would've aired may 25th 2001
It appears as if all playings of Bump! will be skipped on The Barker Era streaming channels, per Fremantle. Otherwise, this episode would've been removed from UA-cam and aired there at some point in the next 2-3 weeks.
How do you know that freemantle said that
@@alexedeburn7331 I said "it appears", first off.
Second off, it was a snap removal on the first day of the new drops, removing two days worth of drops, and the fans figured out that the removed episodes were, in fact, the first four playings of Bump.
@@michaelfalkner1186 WOUld have aired tonight at 8PM, but it is scheduled not to air because of the deciding to skip Bump playings.
But they could have shown Holly shaking her groove thing.
@@zachhoran u know they been showing clips of these new episodes on their UA-cam channel and even though they are skipping this one it would be interesting if they posted a clip from this one tonight.
Cool!
aww, sadly the quality is very grainy
Here's what aired in primetime:
ABC- Webster, Mr. Belvedere, Barbara Walters Special (Princess Caroline, Barbara Striesand, Priscilla Presley), Benson
CBS- The Dukes of Hazzard, Movie (The Cannonball Run)
NBC- Knight Rider, Motown Revue, Miami Vice
In late night: Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (guest host Joan Rivers, Bob Hope, Bruce Weitz, Oprah Winfrey, The Manhattan Transfer)

B U M P is Blump?
@@cutemimi25 Bump!
@@cecehempstead1226what?
That was TOTALLY NOT a bump lol😅
My guess for the last 2 Numbers in the Price of that Car would have been 1 of the following 3.
1: 63
2: 37
3: 58
How do you play the Bump game?
Episode's being skipped by The Barker Era because of the "BLUMP" playing in this episode because it's unsuitable for younger audiences.
Funny, when I first heard the rumor about Bump being skipped, I thought it was you who started that rumor. It sounded like something you would say. In the past, you claimed to have heard rumors that the 1984 episodes of $25K Pyramid are damaged beyond repair (and you never said where you heard the rumors from). You also claimed that the final three months of "Press Your Luck" are damaged beyond repair (of which you provided no evidence to support that claim). Come to find out it was Adam Scimone who started that rumor.
Well, Bump just got shown on Pluto TV. Good to see you were proven wrong.
@@wiseone3374And we were all proven wrong when they reinstated Bump.
I have a feeling that we're gonna see this on The Price is Right: The Barker Era in a few days.
Now we won't, cause Bump is in it. They're skipping all Bump episodes.
@@ajk Except for one episode that accidentally aired last week (4/3), presumably as an belated April Fools’ joke.
@@angrybirdsfan2003 I saw someone suggest that it was aired accidentally. Why would it be a joke though? I suppose it won't be reaired however huh.
@@ajk Kind of similar to when GSN accidentally aired three fur episodes.
