I think one thing most players fail to mention about Topaz’s value is that unlike Xueyi, Hunt March, Moze, etc, Topaz can still do damage & gain energy while debuffed/cc/dazed thx to Numby. Moze can still be debuffed on his off turn if his skill isn’t activated after his stacks end. This might play into her being a summon support in the future meta getting dmg outside her turn. Cant wait to roll for her.
I was about to skip Topaz until I got E2 Feixiao. Now I have to get her
One of my most fav unit of all time and useful too.
A bit out of topic ,but omg your topaz build is literally like I look at mine down to the crit ration I think 😮😮😮 same sets and almost identical crit stats, I lack the weapon but gonna get it this rerun 😊
Topaz is much better than Moze for the simple reason that her debuff is persistent.
Moze is bricked if you kill the marked enemy too fast. He'll do nothing until he gets to reapply it again. Not to mention getting him to E6, which is when he approaches an E0 Topaz, is on average more expensive than an E0 Topaz.

I'll be honest, Topaz's personal damage is shit, you never play her expecting big numbers, but her value skyrocketed with Robin and Feixiao. Alone, at e0s0, she is and always will be mid, but the sheer number of times Numby can act makes her the perfect Robin/Feixiao battery and during Concerto she does so many attacks that the extra damage from Robin adds up a lot and make Topaz an actually competitive option
I mean he talks as if Moze didn't exist. My e4 does 100k followups, its really strong. Not worth investing in limited char imo.
And when your mark of prey disappears prematurely, because you killed the enemy that it was on too quickly, your Moze does nothing for the remainder of the cycle until it's his turn again so he can reapply it.
Meanwhile Topaz keeps going even when CC'd.
E1 Jade the real goat for feixiao
She's a character immune to powercreep. Feixiao, just like Ratio, is variable and will be replaced when we get a new fua dps. Topaz literally can't be replaced as fua get stronger and happen at higher frequency she will also get stronger. E1 S1 for her is easy as she has had 3 pull opportunities over the course of the game. Moze is great but pulling a 4-Star at E6 require around the same number of pulls on average to E2 a 5-Star. Sure, they may have more 4-star selections, but why wait multiple patches when I can get the best fua character now especially since she's probably going to get another re-run during the summon meta, in 3.X. Getting her E1 already have her S1.
Lol she is not much better than march and moze in feixiao teams. Just wait 5 star topaz upgrade is coming soon
@@D4C_267 how so? isn’t topaz’s debuff always present meanwhile moze’s prey debuff doesn’t matter at certain points? not to mention you gotta wait until it’s his turn to reapply the debuff. & march doesn’t even build up stacks as quick for fx correct me if im wrong
@@wkjro M7 Actually built faster stack than Moze, and might even be faster than Topaz(hadnt try, no Topaz)
Since the ga,e absolutely refuses to give me Hemiko, im going all in with Topez. YunLi, Topez, robin amd HuHu will be my followup team. Ive regreated skipping her twice now.
Went for the S1 last time, definitely copping the E1 this time around for my Fei/ future FUA units 😅
I was initially disappointed when I chose Topaz over Jingliu in my first run, especially since Topaz was considered underwhelming when she was released. But now, looking back with Feixiao's arrival, I realize it was the best decision I've made in the game.

For LC vs E1 why would you run topaz in non-follow up teams? 50% CD on follow up only seems far more advantageous than 24% CD for all attacks. I can concede that there are other sig LC benefits, but those need to be compared against other LC like cruising, final victor, and sword play.
Cruising and FV are shit on her, SwordplayS5 is very good tho
E1 and S1 have the same final dps increase for the team on Ratio team since Ratio has a lot of skill and ult damage, just pull S1 because S0 Topaz does no damage and E1 is 2x more expensive than S1 for the exact same increase.
@@BailuGaming do you know if there is a comparison for feixiao though. I think she exemplifies more of the follow up archetype than ratio.
in the end topaz is always better for this team? Can the topaz light cone be given to both moze and march7th? so I could just pull the light cone and hope for E2 Moze
lmao this is my question too. Accessable hunt LCs are so dogshit I literally would pull for topaz/ratio LC only
Her LC is one of the best in the game and can easily be used by March or Moze if you already have them built or if you don't like Topaz. She is best in slot as a sub-DPS for FUA teams, but the margins are actually quite thin between her and Moze E6 and March E6.
im 30k jades away from 100k, hard pass, waiting for the elysia expy, and i will be getting her e6 :)
Her design and personality does nothing for me, she's part of the IPC and she kinda requires E1S1 to properly stand out from the competition. For me she's an easy skip. That's not to say she's bad, having the highest amount of follow ups and a strong buff is nothing to scoff at, but I will never pull her.
She already stands out from the competition at E0S0.
A strong and persistent debuff, SP flexible, highest frequency of attack.
Moze gets bricked if he loses the debuff too quickly. March is much slower and only buffs one character.
E1S1 simply put her light years ahead of the competition.
