maybe reburn II takes place at the end of apho and hsr cuz welt build copy of the astral express after all he is checking all the blueprint or structure of the astral express then he got back in hi3 universe and build it cuz he still has a trailblaze spirit
To add. Model and animations of Eileen (incomplete) were found in Closed Beta of HSR- first one if I recall correctly. She wasn't a replacement for March as March had own model while Eileen's was incomplete. So - initially Eileen was meant to appear somewhere before or during Belobog- but later this plan was scrapped, but her model remained initially. Whether she is fully scrapped idea or will appear later is unknown.
It seems that for now, Eileen's model is used as a placeholder for beta tests of future characters. I believe that they won't just waste the model and may use it when March gets back all her memories, which will probably not happen any time soon
If i recall correctly, if was for a future ice preservation character. Take this with a grain of salt, as i might remember wrong and I'm just a random person on the internet
It's sad that this character wasn't nearly finished. I really like the official artwork with her holding the flower, but that's just gonna not happen :( I'd like to believe that march and Eileen are 2 different people, but they are somewhat related to eachother like sisters. I really hope Eileen does become a playable harmony character. If not, that's okay.
Ive always viewed this animated short as when welt came back to earth which takes place after march 7th got her memories back and became eileen and then the astral express crew went to earth with welt and eileen had some sort of impact on carole and she had to disappear for some reason then the astral express crew with carole go out to venture again and possibly find out about eileens fate. also something important to point out is that this area has a whole like thingy built out for the astral express to launch which could mean the astral express crew spent a significant amount of time on earth before leaving
The Astral Express in Star Rail inside doesn't look like the one shown in the trailer (unless it's another train like a Cosmic Juggernaut, an upgraded version like Hyperion 11 or a replica). Carole Peppers isn't even mentioned in Star Rail, let alone is she a playable character or part of the story (for now) Eileen (as Asmoday in Genshin) was apparently a codename used for March 7th in the Alpha versions of the game. Neither HSR Himeko nor Pom-Pom appear in the trailer. They are on Earth on a test takeoff, the Astral Express crew members do not need to land on the planet with the train to get to it
Who knows...? We still don't know March 7th's True Name and Past... For all we know... March 7th is most probably Eileen... And Reburn II might be Post-Honkai Star Rail after Welt returns to Earth with a nearly destroyed Astral Express and the Animation is after the Astral Express was repaired on Earth and Upgraded... Launching into it's next Destination...
4:25 because the express doesnt come from the hi3 universe, but from the star rail universe, so if they are setting out in the hi3 into space, totally different train
I'm pretty sure the train shown is either a replica of or just straight up the Second Divine key, Cosmic Juggernaut. It travels through the sea of quanta and bubble universes, plus shares a similar design choice like the piece of the train that looks like a revolvers cylinder
I kind of always thought that animation was always canon and that March 7th just decided to dye her hair or went through the same process Durandal did.
Maybe this animation is how they first envisioned how they would start hsr story but later get scrapped in favor on what we have right now. If they reveal Eileen as march 7th true identity/form in hsr maybe there will be carole exp that someohow connected to her story
In my opinion, it is canon, because the Honkai series is specifically about multiverses and even the 'concepts' of alternate dimensions where counterpart versions of the same people exist, fall within the main canon, not just with Honkai Impact 3rd, but also with Star Rail, though the later focuses more on alternate worlds rather than dimensions and bubble universes, I also want to point out that Houkai Gakuen 2 technically falls within the parallel multiverse, and there are even some indications that it precedes the old era of Fire Moth in HI3. But back on the subject of Welt, there are also several completely different narratives covering Welt's departure from Earth. In one of the manga chapters, which I haven't read, so don't take my word for it, Welt is apparently last seen entering a portal all by himself. In the last installment of the Captain's Journey, the Himeko from a bubble universe, who goes on to join the Captain's crew, mentions how Welt was her teacher, and he had boarded a space ship with her father leaving the Earth, I forget if that Welt and her father died though, or if they just disappeared. In Honkai Star Rail, Welt explains that he left with a traveling companion, who turns out to be Void Archives. This would also explain why Honkai Star Rail 'isn't a sequel', even though it is, because the Welt we know from Honkai Star Rail, is another Welt from another Earth, though his background is extremely similar to the one from Honkai Impact 3rd. For an example of counterparts between the two games, consider Haxxor Bunny and Silver Wolf, both almost share an identical story, both go on to join a group that explores the universe, Haxxor Bunny joins the Captain's crew (Astral Express in HSR) while Silver Wolf join's Elio's Stellaron Hunters (The fairyman's crew in HI3), both enter worlds looking for an Ether Anchor/Stellaron, in fact Silver Wolf's trailer even shows her playing Haxxor Bunny in HI3. I think that it is the same situation for the Welt characters from each game, and that they are not the same person. Another thing to consider, is that the main story of Honkai Star Rail was well into development when the Is The Reburn II Animation was released, as the game came out a year later, so why does it deviate so much from it? I think that the devs were being crafty, I think that when the devs said that Star Rail is not a sequel, they were indirectly hinting that this is a different Welt from the one we know in HI3, and that the Is The Reburn II PV was just another clue to this. For another thing to consider, the train we see Carole and Welt boarding is the 2nd Divine Key Cosmic Juggernaut, which was created by Vill V of Fire Moth in the previous era, where the Astral Express was created by the Aeon Akivili, whose heart is apparently the power source of the Express, similarly to the 2nd Divine Key's power source being a Core of a Herrscher. Also take note that the Welt from Honkai Star Rail arrived on the Express later after Himeko found and repaired it, but by his own testimony, he never mentions boarding the Astral Express, or a similar vehicle, when actually leaving Earth. Interestingly enough, Su was the original person placed in charge of the Cosmic Juggernaut, which had two ELF on board, a combat ELF resembling Kevin, and another one that is unnamed, and if we consider Pom Pom's role in Honkai Star Rail, it's possible that they're actually some form of ELF. Vita aka Sa, is a counterpart to Su from the planet Venus, she also refers to the Honkai and Finality as being the Abyss, but I'll get back to that point later. Vita, like Su, has a space ship and is an interstellar traveler, she also shows up next to HSR guest Sparkle in the upcoming story, so I think it's possible that the devs could be planning to have Vita as a guest at some point in HSR. Regarding Carole and her absence from Star Rail. As stated above, if this is another dimension separate from the main stories of both games, then this is another Welt and another Carole, but it still exists in the same multiverse. So what if this instance of Carole sets out on a journey, different from Star Rail's Welt, but then gets separated from her own group, finding her way into same universe as HSR's Astral Express. It would be interesting to see two people reunite, who kind of know each other, but are from alternate dimensions. IN MY OPINION, the part of the universe surrounding Earth falls within the Finality's territory, which has caused some form of dimensional distortion that is different from other parts of the universe, Teyvat of the Genshin series also falls within the territory of the Finality, which is why Otto Apocalypse was able to observe Dvalin and Fallen Rosemary in chapter 17 of the main story. Finality/Honkai/Abyss, are all interchangeable terms for the same thing. The event awhile back where Griseo encountered human like Honkai beasts, actually got into some details about a section of the universe around the Earth being in some sort of Honkai energy Belt, I'm pretty sure this was also mentioned in a written dialogue from the story arc where Fu Hua and Griseo were confronting Sa, but I have to go through the records to confirm that. [Edit] Found it, it's a dialogue from Sa: "The intertidal zones of imaginary internal energy at the solar system's periphery have formed a natural barrier blocking interstellar transit, and every approach attempted by the Star Traveler has failed. Even when backed by the power of the sea (Sea of Quanta) is it still impossible to conquer these hindrances put in place by the stars?" In chapter 2 of the book The Little Witch and the Undying Fire, from Genshin Impact, which was written by multiple members of the Hexenzirkel, they talk about the universe outside of Teyvat, indirectly referring to Honkai energy, planetary gods (Kiana, Serendina, etc) and the existence of virtual worlds (Penecony, Punklorde, etc), it then goes on to imply that Teyvat is just another type of virtual world. I've also felt for awhile now that the Remembrance (Fuli) and the Elation (Aha) have been in a silent war of manipulation within the Finality region. Elysia, March, Eileen, and Istaroth are possibly avatars of Fuli the Remembrance, where Aponia may have actually been a Memo Keeper assigned to keep an eye on Elysia, but ended up getting caught up in Fire Moth and the fight against the Honkai. That may seem far fetched, but compare Aponia to Black Swan, then consider that Aponia ran an orphanage before following Elysia in joining Fire Moth, and also consider that Elysia was raised in an orphanage, that had no problem allowing a kid to go off on her own, which would would make sense if Aponia were a Memo Keeper, and used her power of manipulation on the orphanage's staff. Both Elysia and March capture the 'memories' of people and events wherever they go. For a final point on this, I strongly suggest watching the PV for Because of You, with the perspective of Elysia being an avatar of Fuli, and not actually a Herrscher, cause remember, Elysia's plan was to 'claim' to be the Final Herrscher, in an attempt to trick fate and the Finality, but it didn't work. Pay very close attention to everything that happens in Because of You, especially towards the ending, but also pay close attention to what the Herrscher of Corruption says about Elysia and Memories.
@@rickelmehanwinckel2699 My suggestion is that Elysia was possibly an avatar for the Aeon Fuli, and her sacrifice where she 'played the role' of Final Herrscher didn't work, because she was never a Herrscher in the first place. Up to Elysia's showing up in the past, the apocalypse would periodically happen every so many thousand years, once all of the Herrschers had made there appearance, it would end with the final Herrscher, the Herrscher of the End descending and destroying civilization. Fire Moth had a number of theories over what caused this, and it was speculated that the Finality might be tricked if a 13th Herrscher appeared, stopping the doomsday clock so to speak. Elysia was an anomaly, no one really knew who or what she was, the same goes for Elysia, so when Elysia claimed to be the Final Herrscher, they had no reason to doubt her. But there is a lot more to Elysia, and I strongly suggest watching the video for Because of You, paying close attention to what is said in the dialogue, especially from the Herrscher of Corruption, also pay attention to the 'Goddess Elysia' that appears from the stain glass window towards the end of the video, I suggest that is Fuli.
The thing with the Alien Space manga, most people haven’t actually read it. The manga doesn’t actually connect to star rail in a significant way. Rather the only connection, is Welt learning the existence of other universes and Himeko. In the end of the manga, Welt goes straight home to earth, which suggests Welt boards the astral express off screen at an undeterminable time, possibly months or years after APHO ends. Void archives isn’t even guaranteed to be the said companion who boarded the express with Welt, people only made such an assumption because as I said nobody actually read alien space, and only heard that void archives was his companion and that the manga connects to starrail from Reddit or whatever. If we consider Reburn II canon, then that companion is Carole. But since we never see the moment Welt actually boards the express, we don’t know. In fact, at the current moment of Honkai Impact 3’s story line, Welt is canonically still on earth. And as of APHO 2, he is either on earth or orbiting the planet on an alien space craft and just has no screen time because contrary to what everyone believes, void archives kidnaps Welt at the end of APHO part 1 to Alien Space Manga instead of to starrail which is what everyone assumes.
Another thing is the animation Reburn (1) is not cannon. At the time it came out it was possibly cannon, but the story of HI3 developed differently. At the time that train that looks like the Astral Express, may not have been the AE, but rather an overhauled (body work, visual exterior) of the 2nd Divine Key: Cosmic Juggernaut which within the lore of Hi3 is a 50k yr old train with space manipulation powers. "allows the user to create bubble universes in the sea of quanta, capable of traversing the sea of quanta, can be used to long range peer into bubble universes"
They can easily make it canon by having them be the HSR ver. Remember there are a lot of astral express so what if in future there will be 2 express and 2 welt will meet each other
What if carole left astral express in later times i was thought that if she not on express on the first time we get in the express she must left the express she must love an planet that the point we are don't know how much planet been seen on express and we are just joined in the middle
but Eileen, it's March 7th in the beta, I think when she recovers her memory it will be like this, we will have to wait until we get to the part of the story where March recovers her memory And yes, I think Eileen is canon, in my opinion.
If you don't accept it as canon then it's not canon. If someone else accepts it as canon then it is indeed canon. Unless the developer flat out says it isn't then it's up to the individual to believe what they want to believe. I'm not going to tell someone they're wrong when there isn't enough evidence to sway it either way.
I know her name from the discussions with the community, but I believe her name was found in the files of a closed Honkai Star Rail beta server. However, her name was deleted from the files since then and never appeared again.

The alien space manga talks about the test of the train and counts it down, and this animation is about a test for the train so I think it fits.
maybe reburn II takes place at the end of apho and hsr cuz welt build copy of the astral express after all he is checking all the blueprint or structure of the astral express then he got back in hi3 universe and build it cuz he still has a trailblaze spirit
Imagine if March 7th is also originally from Honkai Impact 3rd 😂
The possibilities are high
Pretty sure she made an earth reference at one point.
Fragment of Herrcher of human
She could. Her ice looks like something akin to the 5th divine key
March did mention Rome in passing, the express crew was confused and it got played off as March being weird again
To add. Model and animations of Eileen (incomplete) were found in Closed Beta of HSR- first one if I recall correctly.
