I’m so glad yours grew so quickly and did so well!! I’ve been struggling with mine, I’ve had it for almost 2 years now and I got it with 2 super small baby leaves, it has lost both of the original leaves and has one leaf now. Ir rotted in the soil mix it was in, so I cut the rot off and stuck it in water, moved it to perlite about a month ago and it’s now finally growing a second leaf. Literally the second leaf it has ever grown in my care. I’ve refused to give up on this plant. Thank you for inspiring me to not give up hope on my monstera albo!
Michael being curious and asking question is really sweet 🥰. That was such an interesting video - the more I see them, the more I think I might eventually adopt and Albo 🙌🏻😘
WOW your Monstera albo is absolutely STUNNING, the variegation is so beautiful and I really LOVED watching the updates, thanks so much for sharing Christine, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a wonderful Thursday XXXX
Such a beautiful plant! I just love the unboxing and the journey and I love how every leaf has different variegations. Thank you for sharing your plants! 😊❤️☀️
What a beautiful plant! I honestly prefer the yellow variegated monstera just because I see the white so much but either way, stunning!! The white variegated is totally your style! Also- I love that you do these update videos. Yes it takes longer but the wait is totally worth it.
I just found your channel and I have been binge-watching your videos haha! I love your decorating style, and I love houseplants so I really enjoy your content! I also got my first Albo this year, I resisted getting one for a long time because of the hype and price but man, I absolutely love watching each leaf unfurl. It’s a fun surprise every time! The variegation on yours is a perfect mix between marble and sectoral! 😍😍
awesome video. Thank you for the updates. I truly enjoy watching this... Hope we will see more of the Monstera Albo in your future videos. Take care....
Beautiful plant! I’d love an albo (I prefer them to the Thai constellations) but man they are impossible to find locally. And the prices make your eyes water ($700+ for a cutting)
Thanks WrenNeigh! Same, I really love the white variegation on the albo. Yeah the prices are crazy with variegated plants, hopefully more will be coming onto to market and prices will go down.
Great video! I don't have much experience purchasing plants online so it was good to learn about top and middle section cuttings. I also thought the last tip of saving money to buy one wish list plants over buying multiples of less expensive plants.
Hi Christine, I have been following you since your hot pink, pink so foxy, cupcake, Hawaiian days. I have always enjoyed your content and have learned so much about plants, however, it is a little advanced for this plant killer. I would love a house plant 101. What is easiest to start with? What kind of soil? What types of pots? I would love a series for the ultimate, plant ignorant beginner. Lots of love from Texas!💗🌱🌵🌾🌿☘🍀🍃🍁🍂
The prices for Albos in the US are simply shocking! In the EU you can get nice mid cuttings starting from 30 Euros. Of course top cuttings and bigger poants are more expensive, but you can get a plant with a couple of leaves for roundabout 100-150 Euros too
Same here in Indonesia! For one leaf cutting around 60-150 euro depending on the pattern. So popular here it sickens me (i do have thought lol). But mostly the monstera albo in Europe is tissue cultured, no?
I know this might be a super weird request, but that new leaf is the most beautiful albo leaf I have ever seen😍 I am obsessed! By any chance do you have a picture of it you could share? 🤩
Yes, monstera albo is ridiculously expensive!! And I can't not even find it in my local green houses/nurseries...but I'm afraid to get one on line because everyone knows how diva it is! What if it dies in my house? 🤷♀️ so I'm glad yours is growing beautiful and healthy 👏👏👏 well done!! I enjoyed the video watching the updates 😊 thanks for sharing it 👍✌ Greetings from Alabama.
You got a great albo. I see little nodes going for 150 and some with three immature leaves for 375 and up. And yours already had fenestrated leaves. You made a great choice and it was packed perfectly! You make a good point about saving up. I'm always super scared to get expensive plants cause I'm nervous something will happen to them.
I’ve purchased a low end cutting with two juvenile leafs and a root system the variegation I wouldn’t say poor but hopefully I get some half moons and more marbling. I’ve got mine for $220 nzd which is cheap considering the cutting size usually ranges from $500+
Gorgeous cutting and great video! 😍🌿🪴 I have a question about your light source for the monstera albo. You had the plant under the spider farmer sf2000, do you dim the light at all (what setting do you have to at) and what was the distance from the plant to the grow light?
Hi Christine - I've been looking everywhere for planters this color! I watched your whitewashing video, but this one appears to be painted. Did you spray paint a terra cotta planter? Thank you SO much
As your albo gets bigger I believe you will be happy to have it in a mix that holds a bit more water. My Monsteras, regular or variegated, drink water like no tomorrow
You’re albo looks so amazing, I have one that I used the same potting soil but all of my new leaves always end up yellowing up and falling😩. I am not sure what I am doing wrong? How often do you water you’re albo?
@@christinekobzeff i really miss when u used to do these massive diy projects from crushing mirrors to making chandeliers it was just hell too good I remember u used E 6000 alot 😂
I literally didn’t see a change in my plant from them as well for up to six months. I got a mid cutting and it took around the same time to root. Now I currently have 6 leaves. I’d say patience, lots of humidity and light I currently have it in a greenhouse and it’s thriving.
Hi from pakistan i wanna recommend you something...you should start making vlogs and starting a vlogs from pakistan would be wounderful so kindly visit pakistan on my request
I absolutely loved watching this. There’s not a chance in hell I’d spend over $100 on a plant, but I loved watching you care for and grow this!

How exciting!!!!! I’ve been looking for a couple months for the perfect one but you landed yourself a gem!
The newest leaf is the prettiest monstera albo leaf I have ever seen! Such nice stripes, creamy colors, splashes and overall super beautiful!
Such a beautiful plant! I just love the unboxing and the journey and I love how every leaf has different variegations. Thank you for sharing your plants! 😊❤️☀️
Thanks Katrina! They really are such unique plants! 💖🤗
Such a beautiful plant baby! I loved Michael’s questions too, your answers are so informative xx

Another GREAT VIDEO! I enjoyed watching the updates AND Thank you for the saving tip GREAT POINT💚💚💚
Such a beautiful plant! Thanks for sharing its progress, it was interesting to see!
Gorgeous monstera! You are such a good plant mommy💚💖😊
Hi! What is the humidity in your plant room? Everything looks beautiful!
How much humidity do you have the room at? Any natural sunlight? If so, is it west facing? How often are you watering?
I got one from him too! The most expensive plant I ever brought water propped and now on a moss plank growing a leaf a month under a Mars grow light.
Wow.. beautiful plants as always ..
I would love a cutting of that monstera albo! I love the ones that are split pretty well down the middle.
monstera are my fave plants ever
Hi Christine, just wondering if you keep your grow lights on 24/7 or just during the day. Thanks

so true, the eu has rare plants so cheap and easy to get
Got my 5 leaf fully established plant for £145
Wow amazing growth! You seem to have only very little burning on the variegated parts. How have you managed to do that?
Could you please describe the ratio on the soil mix. Great combo I must say!
I know this might be a super weird request, but that new leaf is the most beautiful albo leaf I have ever seen😍 I am obsessed! By any chance do you have a picture of it you could share? 🤩

oh my gosh, the seller only has some obliqua nodes now! Hope he gets some plants back!
I just ordered my first Albo from the same Etsy seller. Hope is goes as well as this beauty! :)

It’s grown so much! Sooo pretty 😍…..where do you get your pots? The pot for this Albo is so pretty
Have you had trips issues with plants. Would really like an video how to handle trips.
Albo is my favorite too. It is also good for invest. I will save for it.
What do you recommend for a new albo cutting? Water, perlite or spaghnum moss
So gorgeous! Thank you for sharing 😀
i would love to see a plant tour of your plant room!
Hello :) Where do you purchase the moss poles from? Thank you.
Beautiful results :)
Which fertilizer do you recommend for albos?
Beautiful plant. Worth the wait.
That is really beautiful!
Gorgeous cutting and great video! 😍🌿🪴 I have a question about your light source for the monstera albo. You had the plant under the spider farmer sf2000, do you dim the light at all (what setting do you have to at) and what was the distance from the plant to the grow light?

Gorgeous albo. I was wondering how your Dioon Edule is doing. I finally found one and so far it's thriving.
Omgoodness soo beautiful 💕🥀
Does barch work well? I thought it took a lot of energy from the soil, since it will break down? Such a gorgeous plant!
As your albo gets bigger I believe you will be happy to have it in a mix that holds a bit more water. My Monsteras, regular or variegated, drink water like no tomorrow
Please do a complete houseplant tour, i want to see all your plants especially aroids. 😊😊😊
Lucky girl!
Hi Christine, do you have a small monstera albo for sale?
I read that a normal plant can take on varigation but than loose it as well. Not sure how true that is.
I just checked the etsy seller and he has albos back in stock!
You’re albo looks so amazing, I have one that I used the same potting soil but all of my new leaves always end up yellowing up and falling😩. I am not sure what I am doing wrong? How often do you water you’re albo?
Sounds like over watering and/or not enough light
Do you water yours 1 a week?
@@beautifulstems1631 I water mine every week and a half, I let the soil get a little more dry than my other plants
Monstera Albos, are NOT slow growers, that's the beauty of them. The Thai compared to it, is very slow, though.
First one to comment ur fan from tears ago 🥰
Hi Amal! Thank you! 🤗

Lovely 🥰 I want one but they are so expensive
Thanks Alex! Hopefully more plants will be coming onto the market and prices will go down, especially with more people growing and propagating them. 🥰
I got a plant from them in May and I haven’t got any new leaves. What is your secret?
I literally didn’t see a change in my plant from them as well for up to six months. I got a mid cutting and it took around the same time to root. Now I currently have 6 leaves. I’d say patience, lots of humidity and light I currently have it in a greenhouse and it’s thriving.
This really makes me want one. Thank you for sharing!❤️
It’s beautiful
Thanks Carol!
Monstera albo update please
Can update your monstera albo
Can’t believe how expensive these are. Got my 5 leave albo £120 which is about $150 dollars
wish i could afford an albo
pengen punya monstera
careful letting it root that much in water, it will be very hard to transition to soil
🤭👍🏽🥰

a few hundred dollars....that means you have no idea how much plants cost for the rest of us. keep shopping around.
