I think they just need more balance and better arrangements. Imo they do need new direction and fast because Bama St is getting toward Tuskegee as being the worse hbcu in Bama and bottom of the swac just no balance
I don’t know what your interpretation of good sound is but they sound pretty well and balanced to me. Intonation and the brass blending with the woodwinds are key factors to support my stance.
