I'm so sorry about Shiro. A similar situation with our neighbor's dog happened in February, but we had basically adopted him. The vet visit was hard and I held him as he passed. Big support for you, bro.

You motivated me to take a bike ride for the first time in over a year! It's been really inspiring to watch your fitness journey lately. I'm really sorry about Shiro though, that's hard to deal with.
Facts on the helmet. Wrist guards are super important too because if we go down (any skater, e bike, scooter, skateboard...) I was taught: YOU WILL REACH FORWARD TO BREAK YOUR FALL. ALWAYS LEAN FORWARD SO YOU DON'T FALL BACK AND CRACK YOUR HEAD OR FALL ONTO YOUR TAILBONE. Lean a bit forward ALWAYS and if you think you could go down, use your wrist guards to break the fall, then try to roll into it.
I was a roller speed skater in 80s and when a bolt stripped ,my wheel came off while pacing... the truck grabbed the rink and I went flying forward. My left wrist hurts to this very day if I try to do a handstand. 😐 The incident happened at age 15ish; I'm 55 and it's still messed up.

i’m so sorry for the loss of your cat. i’m in a similar boat, i lost a foster kitten. i only had him for a week, (he was dumped and had multiple broken bones and couldn’t be saved) but it still took a toll on me knowing he was so young. so now a couple weeks of being depressed later im chillin at pawley’s island (in SC, it’s close to myrtle but more chill) and holy hell the beach and fun activities really do help! i’m very glad you are doing the same taking care of yourself and trying to keep your mind occupied. even though your kitty was on the younger side, he probably didn’t know he was and i’m sure you gave him the absolute best almost 5 years and all the love any kitty could ask for. i’m not sure if you believe in kitty heaven, but i hope he’s playing with my foster kitten right now :)

I love beardies so much that i do not think i could stomach the rescue missions you do with them. Your witty dry humor is a good thing in my opinion. When my Grandad died I took the day off and went to a museum near me and the exhibition that was on was all about space and toys and just full of things that I thought he would have really loved and I had a weirdly lovely day just enjoying things on a really different level to how I usually would. Grief makes experiences so intense sometimes. And memorable. I hope you're doing alright.
Yo bro that dream is achievable keep at it. I had a similar childhood dream with buying a place in the FL keys on the water and back in 2019 that dream was fulfilled thanking God.
Don't stop doing cardio! When you get older it's way way way harder to stay slim and not die of being-fat related illnesses. My brother was obsessed with getting big when he was younger. He was a really slender guy. He is absolutely not any more. Stay how you are, you look great.
I lost one of my senior cats suddenly in Feb, and then I just lost my other senior cat on the 10th of this month (which was also my anniversary.) It's a really strange wheel of emotions to cycle through all at once. Sending you lots of love.

are the handlebars not adjustable?! seems like the upper pipe should have an up down motion. maybe too hard with the electrical components
i’m sure you can buy an attachable cup holder online but idk if that would help the spillage factor
they can go wayyy higher for some reason. but the position I have them at are the least extended lol. other bikes i've ridden have cupholder mounts, but i can't figure out where to mount one on this, since it's such a unique shape :/ though honestly I prefer the cool factor over a cupholder lol

It’s find to take the lane on streets like that. That way drivers can see you more easily and they can pass you more easily if they want to. Plus it’s not like you’re going that slowly.

1:25 did you check if the handlebar height is adjustable? It is on most bikes. If that actually can't be changed that's not good
its adjustable but only goes higher! i even had a bike repair shop check to be sure while i was getting something else done lol
genuinely considering just sawing part of it off though
@@GoHerping that's so weird for that to be the max height! Seems like a bit of a design flaw. Did it come in multiple sizes? If that's the max height there should be a smaller version for medium-short people.

The advice to stop doing cardio is just silly. It's good that you have active things in your life that are fun and can help you feel positive even when other things in life are tough. The gym-bro attitude of optimising everything for "gains" is honestly quite unattractive. It's better to have a well-balanced life with food and hobbies you enjoy. You're healthy. You have enough strength and fitness to be active and lift things. With your shirt off you do have visible muscle. For most women that's going to be more attractive than the gym-bro look.
Honestly a lot of straight women find the excessively muscular body builder look to be repulsive. Some men really want to look that way for themselves or to impress other men and that's their choice. If that's you, I wouldn't shame you for that. But don't aim to look that way purely to be attractive to other people. You're attractive as you are now.
