It's really easy to become an EMT and there was that video recently of an EMT acting full on like a sheriff and detaining, punching and arresting a guy.. something he has no authority to do. We need to shine a light on this, the last thing we need in this country is EMT's acting like cops.
And it’s crazy how the cop says “you can’t tell me what to do.” As he’s telling this free man to go back inside like he has the authority to do so. It’s sick. As for the EMTs, they all know the cops. They constantly show up to the same scenes together so they know each other. And they are always going to side with the cops. Remember the Tyre Nichols murder where Tyre is laying on the ground dying and the Cops, EMTs and Firefighters are all standing there chatting it up. They all work together.

It is so revealing seeing "our" government, openly allowing corruption among themselves and conducting a selective 2-tiered application of justice, that clearly displays how it intentionally favors a political ideology in the most blatantly unethical, in-your-face and deliberately abusive way. Then, once confronted publicly, they lie and refuse to or pretend not to know the answers when questioned - under oath. Who could possibly trust or have confidence in "the DOJ", to administer justice properly with such an absence of respect or conscience? It smells so awfully of corruption and dishonesty it's obscene. Hearing that the DOJ was investigating this situation, gave me no comfort or confidence, at all. And the fact that this attack was unprovoked, unwarranted, disproportionate and undertaken in front of woman and babies makes it even more heinous. I haven’t watched thousands of these videos yet, but I think you’re absolutely right. Add to all the body cam evidence like this being accrued, that the police are legally allowed to lie and trick citizens in the course of an investigation, one has to conclude law enforcement is not ever to be trusted as you said. It’s sad because body cam videos also shows many, many officers being long suffering good public servants. But the evidence like this of individual corruption is way too common for anyone to drop his or her guard when dealing law enforcement.

The terrifying part is this: once arrested, they pile up charges against the arrested person. At the time of chase, perhaps one charge is possible, but now 6 charges are levied. A person would need a good lawyer and then win every charge and then be able to counter-sue in order to not pay all court costs. In this case, the police lost everything. I can't believe the EMT didn't get sued also. Clearly wrong for not looking at pregnant woman. What kind of place is Worcester? Eegad.
Yup, 99% of the time the Courts want the criminal charges beat before you can sue civilly. That is why the cops trump up as many charges they possibly can, hoping they can get you on at least one of them.
It's done on purpose legal battle to avoid jail usually takes out the savings prior to lawsuit of officers. If you can't get a lawyer to take it without pay till it resolves your out of luck. Alot of lawyers aren't willing to take on police in such a straight forward manner unfortunately found out the hard way.

@GiveMeYoSammich I disagree, the kids were traumatized because of the violent conduct by the cops, not by the non-violent retreat into the church prior. Your argument is flawed. Whether you think it cowardly to retreat when faced with aggression is irrelevant, people react to stressful situations in different ways. The contempt you express is similar to the disdain shown by these incompetent brutes. They care nothing for the welfare of the public they are meant to serve. That makes them unsuitable for the job. The irony of citing breach of peace to illegally arrest someone for speaking without inciting violence, thereby infringing on their first amendment, will never cease to amuse me. Police officers do not get to arrest people because they feel frustrated by their words. EMT gets a special double middle finger for neglecting medical care for a pregnant woman.
EMT's are a real issue that doesn't seem to be addressed. It's really easy to become an EMT and there was that video recently of an EMT acting full on like a sheriff and detaining, punching and arresting a guy.. something he has no authority to do. We need to shine a light on this, the last thing we need in this country is EMT's acting like cops.

Those cops should be fired, charged and serve years in prison.
If they are charged, the DA will knock whatever charges they get down to misdemeanors. They will get nothing.
Back the blue? Nahh.
They won’t because qualified immunity exists. Although there’s limitations on what is considered qualified immunity, it doesn’t change the fact the police can get away with so much because of qualified immunity.
@@SethStovallVO Qualified immunity is certainly abhorrent. However, it only applies to civil suite proceedings, not criminal charges. They won’t be criminally charged because system is corrupt not because of the judicially created doctrine of QI.
