Incredible video and comparison, best one on UA-cam for the 2022 MDXs! I've been going back and forth on the aspec and advanced, but im leaning towards the advanced simply because all of the added bonuses (360 camera/classier look/heads up display and roof rail) and the trims are the same price now at very similar mile ranges now, 39k-50k ranges. 41k avg used MSRP im seeing for those 2 trims.
Why don't they do A-Spec + Advance? Like they did for RDX? I was looking at RDX for my daily driver but was not happy with only A-Spec or Advance, then they mixed both. But while I was waiting for something like that my needs grew and now I need something like MDX. But again, I'd like A-Spec looks and interior, but with all Advance features. And I'm ready to pay. I don't need Type-S for my daily, I have a BMW coupe for spirited driving. I just need a confident and good-looking SUV.
@@kilmer54 with all respect to Acura, type s is too flashy, costs like BMW but still drives like Acura. 3.5 turbo doesn't make it x3 m40 or x5 m50. I'd rather pay an extra $3-5k for a-spec+advanced than extra $10k for type s that I'm sure is awesome for Acura fans, but I'm a family guy. I have a twin-turbo inline 6 BMW coupe for when I'm in the mood
@@KHFCColumbus I waited too long and ended up buying a 2023 X5 M50i. Very expensive and doesn't change my sympathy for the Acura brand at all. I would still buy MDX under other circumstances. It's just my wife convinced me that I deserve another BMW :)
@ArtemDzhadzha nice haha, yeah my lady has some say in my purchase too and she favors the advanced because of the 360 camera and interior/wood accents. I care more about the audio system and wheels. Just a more classy look as a real estate agent and investor in my city as im 30 now. I'd love to have the aspec when I was 25 haha.
