    I feel like the end part that you pointed out for being a little messy was intentional. The high breathy note in the “cinnamon, sweat, and rum” lyric was also done differently at the end, and I think it was a conscious choice to convey a particular emotion rather than a technically perfect vocal. Knowing how each of these band members are as musicians, I know they put a lot of work, care, and revision into what they do. Adrienne (singer) is a non-stop music-making machine of a human who believes in creating art without limits, blending genres and taking inspiration from every part of the world and the soul. So this is why I think the “messy” part was a conscious choice!

    Adrienne is a vocal chameleon, a helluva good songwriter, and on top of it all an absolutely delightful person.
    For more Seven Spires songs, try "Cabaret of Dreams" or "Lightbringer"; both are decidedly different from this one, both musically and vocally. Alternatively, try "Drowner of Worlds" if you want your face melted off.

      @@TBSxDRUMS It was the song that got me into harsher vocals, perhaps it can do this for others too, lol. Don't know how I ended up as a filthling but Adrienne's vocals in "Drowner of Worlds" played a huge part in it.

    Dope she's like metal musical theater. Love her diction too. That " Messy section" wasn't messy it reminded me of Fiona Apple. So the Tara "the voice teacher hears Gwen Stefani when she was the front woman for No Doubt. I can hear Fiona Apple at the end. So a stellar performance and I found a new band as well. It you liked this you ight love Flyleaf. Their lyrics can be seen as metal/hard rock secular or the double meaning that is Christian. They also are fronted by this tiny little woman that after you hear her it's like all that sound came out of her? WoW🤘🏻
    Here is a HUGE REQUEST can you please listen and do a review vid to this awesome singer named Corvyx. You will love him no matter what cover you pick.❤😊

    For the question on caption, she can do rock, harsh vocals, pop, ballad's etc. Adrienne is an awesome singer and excellent in many styles, and Seven Spires explores a great mix of metal subgenres.

    Other things that Adrienne does that're close to this would be
    1- I will Bury You
    2- Succumb
    & Some mix between some slight growls & clean in her stint with Sasha Paern : Maters Of Ceremony.
    Adrienne is a beast when she needs to be & all things in between!

      @XwoooahX Рік тому +2

      Ha ha , this is true, a more shocking react video may have been Seven Spires - "The Unforgotten Name", which lulls you in with the gentle ballad until it erupts into 2 growled/scream sections like Jinjer's "Pisces". To top it off the second section of this features a male/female duet with the pair of singers sitting and playing the piano while growling/screaming. 🤣

      @@XwoooahX 😋 Cabaret of Dreams, on the other hand, starts with a scream and goes into the jazzy part to throw the unwary through a loop. 😁🤘

    That end note…while not the best for studio…I hear it as almost ‘jazzy’
    It changes up the tone of the song right at the end. I think of it as a cool scene change in a movie or play, which is how I feel this album should be viewed. Just like the end of an act. Especially if you know what song comes next 😉

    just watched your [HI REN] video. You should check out falling in reverse. They are a band that has been around for a while and have changed their sound significantly. If I had to recommend anything it would be "I am not a vampire (revamped)" and "The drug in me is reimagined" ... They are both songs that the band made 10+ years ago and the new versions really show off the singers range. I think it would be cool if you made a video for each where you react to the original and the new version to see the difference.

      This song is more power metal actually, though Seven Spires also does melodic death metal, black metal, progressive metal, pop metal, etc.... That's why I love them so much they can go light to dark in an instant. The very next song "Drowner Of Worlds" on this album sounds like something Dimmu Borgir may compose. Then after that "Silvery Moon" is a serene piano ballad with violins and acoustic guitars in the background but with a climax with heavy electric guitars, soring vocals, and double bass kicking in until turning back to peaceful quiet ending.
