There aren’t enough words to describe how incredibly beautiful this looks! It motivates me to keep trying with my new hobby as well. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
And just think...were on a collision course. Our 2 galaxies are racing towards each other and right before our sun moves into its red giant phase there will be a collision. The amazing thing is there is so much space between stars actual physical hits will be rare. The problem will be gravity ejecting planets suns and moons out of their orbits.
I think it’s unwise to say there will absolutely without a doubt be a collision. There’s much about the universe we don’t understand and our current understanding of gravity fails on the cosmic scale and also at the micro scale thus resulting in a number of unanswered mysteries which are unexplainable using our human understanding. If the apparent collision is used by our current models of gravity then it is most likely a misleading conclusion
Just for the record, although I am 66 years old, you are the person who inspired me to experiment with astrophotography six years ago. Thanks for that! I also did a single shot of the Andromeda galaxy blind shooting with an 800 mm cheap canon lens and even I am pretty happy with my simple results. Thanks again for all your uplifting videos!
What makes it so amazing is that the image you are seeing right there is 2.5M+ years old, it takes the Andromeda Galaxy's light 2.5M light years to reach earth.
Amazing to think that's an entirely different galaxy like our own and maybe even with a planet like our own with life. Just imagine a person on that planet staring at our galaxy and snapping the same photos.
I only got around to capturing Andromeda a few days ago even though I've been doing astrophotography for about 2 years, because my house usually blocks my view to the north and every time I set up my rig it was hidden from me! It really is a monster though, and difficult to get into the frame unless you have a large FOV.. But I'm really looking forward to processing it.
BEAUTIFUL! Did a similar thing - but of course never as perfect as yours - with the Milky Way Core when I was on Vacation in Egypt. Just with my daily DSLR, the mighty fift lensy, a tripod and an intervalometer at two a clock in the morning alone at the beach, it was GREAT! 150 pictures of 6 seconds combined - and that's now the background of my little MacBook Air that had to do all the work using Siril 🤩!
Beautiful! Excellent job, I’m just getting in to deep space astrophotography so I hope to get here one day! I literally took my first stacked deep sky photo last weekend (even with no calibration frames) 😂
I remember as if it were yesterday when I stacked the first 15 pictures four years ago - it felt like magic and still does. Although nowadays I stack 150 pictures plus 20-30 calibration frames each, my little MacBook Air hates it 🤣!
I did the same for the first time, except I only had around 100 lights and my flats were improperly done. Amazing shot! This gives me inspiration to give it another shot!
Could you do a tutorial on how you did everything, setup, camera settings, editing, etc? I would love to try this but have no idea where to even start.
I just got a Star Adventurer 2i today, so of course it is going to be cloudy for weeks... planning Andromeda as my first target as shooting it a few months back on a fixed tripod just didn't cut it! Will be watching your video for tips!
Can you do a tutorial on how you did that and how you made the edit? I have a 135mm and I have a camera (granted a leica) but I think I get similar images
This is actually a lot harder than it looks. I've had two earnest attempts at it, and couldn't get there. I'm gonna keep at it though, and I hope that I'll be able to get something like that someday
This is so far away that it is impossible to comprehend...
💯
I would very much like to get involved in this community. How can I do that? Are tgere any online groups or cllubs that I can join? @@AstroBackyard
Never get tired of your Andromeda compilations, be it on DSLR, or scope!
It is one of my absolute favourite targets!
Beauty,,,,as always, Trev!
This.
But at the same time its the closest galaxy to the milky way
@@Ri4FuYes. The closest galaxy to our very own Milky Way galaxy. But still 2.5 million light years away is still very far.😅

300 shots!
Impressive! 💫👏
This is absolutely stunning
Thank you!
Absolutely stunning. Appreciate all the work that went into capturing that!
Phantastic Job 👍👍👍

How does it fail in cosmic terms? As far as I know gravity does have an effect on cosmic size objects@_jonathanfilip_

Just beautiful.❤
I am going to try that, too. Thank you for the impressive image and the inspiration!
No way!!!😳 How beautiful picture of Andromeda do you make!!!🌀 ✨👏👏👏
What makes it so amazing is that the image you are seeing right there is 2.5M+ years old, it takes the Andromeda Galaxy's light 2.5M light years to reach earth.
Also one day, in the future, our Milky way is going to collide with Andromeda, making a new galaxy we will call Milkomeda.
@@M-e-t-a-l-l-i-c-a_fan Yep!
We sure are but I'd rather it be called the AndroMilk or Astro-Way Galaxy instead. Has a better ring to it 🤷♂️
@SaltyArmy yeah I'm not keen On milkomeda.
@@M-e-t-a-l-l-i-c-a_fan - I prefer to call it the Andromky Way.
Great job!! It's breathtaking!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 🤩
I really appreciate everything you do I really like it ❤
You did Great. My favorite Galaxy. Thanks for the video.
Personally...it's my second favourite galaxy 😅 the Milkyway being the first 😅

Beautiful.. as good as a telescope picture .. can you make a detailed tutorial on camera settings , exposure , and editing techniques for this
This is absolutely stunning broo...❤️
That's insane. Somebody like us lives in that galaxy..
Could be 🤷♂️
Nah not like us, i think its quite unlikely theyd be like us.

As usual phenomenal.
Thank you!
I love your content so much!
Thank you very much!
Looks like our Milky way 💪💪💪💪🌎
Trevor, you consistently blow everyone's mind. You make Canadians proud.
Just wow 😮❤
And to think, there might be an alien in Andromeda galaxy, pointing their telescope at Milky Way and capturing a similar image
Great result!
Thanks!
OMG insane work...I dream of taking pictures like you...this is too good
More like 1000 pictures and you can so this too Its very easy
Amazing to think that's an entirely different galaxy like our own and maybe even with a planet like our own with life. Just imagine a person on that planet staring at our galaxy and snapping the same photos.
What’s crazy is they would be looking at what the Milky Way looked like 2.5 million years ago.
Beautiful !

Awesome, beautiful, and hard believe we can see it with the naked eye when it is so far away. Great Video Brother!
Great work🔥

Whats so amazing is that you did it with that small lens and there is no pixelation in the image.
U R AWESOME!
You’re looking into 2 Million Lightyears away 🎉🎉
In the past
Nice work
2.5 million lightyears! I think these distances are in our heads. They’re just inconceivable
Very nice Trevor you did a good job
Nice, Trevor! How long were your 300 subs?
Thanks! 60 seconds each

This guy‘s YT channel has caused me to spend more hours researching all the shit I’m gonna buy I’ve ever been to lol
amazing
2.5 + Million Miles away is so wild! 🌌🌌
That's 2.5 million light years not miles
Light years, not miles. 2.5 million miles isn't that far, for perspective, James Webb is a million miles away .
1 light year is 5.88 trillion miles btw
Amazing work! Which lens did you use and is the camera modified??? How did you get such round and tiny stars??

Hey Trevor, how many hours of data is this?
Feels like even my 2 kidneys and half a liver won't be enough
Really beautiful, but can you tell me what are the two big dots behind the andromeda?
They are also galaxies i think the other one is Messier 32 and the other one is messier 110

M32 and M110, satellite galaxies
Where can you buy that?
can you capture star arctrus please?
Yeah, my phone on a tripod ain't cutting it.

I hope somebody from a Andromeda is watching us through telescope
If someone is watching us from there, they would be seeing dinosaurs.
Awesome!! How was the walking noise on this setup?
I manually dithered to be safe 🤓
Which lens bro
Great photo, you are an inspiration to the astrophotography community. How long were the exposures?
I also photographed her the other night but accidently put her off-center in my framing. Still looks good though!
What camera did you use? Nice picture
Who cares?
@@bobmusil1458 i’m just trying to ask a question? Who woke you on the wrong side of the bed.?
Awesome
Stunning shot!!!!!!!!!!! Out of curiosity what lens did you use, and if a zoom, at what length did you go for?
You barely need any zoom for andromeda
Did you use all 300 images in the editing?
300 pictures? What was your exposure? And how long did it take?
Each exposure was 60 seconds long (tracked) and I left it running for 2 nights (while I slept!)

Can u give an review on dwarf 3 telescope pls and please give an comparison of seestar s50 too
I would love to know the settings used! Any filters? Modded Camera Sensor (removed ir filter) exposure time ? 😂
The wild thing for me is that andromeda is bigger in our sky than the moon.
Was this using the T7 and kit lens?
