also a 2.4 gen 2 4cylinder 4runner. vs a 4.0 straight 6 the 4.0 definitely should win. the toyota 3.4 V6 would be a better comparison. I'll also choose toyota's build quality over the jeep. Even though the jeep is cool. The jeep does come with a solid front axel instead of IFS which makes it better in my opinion for offroad.

The 4runner will last a lot longer too. Not so sure with the turbo though. You put the toyota 3.4 v6 in then i'd like to see how they do. Toyota build quality is just superior.

4.0 is much smoother in almost every situation. Be cool to see each obstacle compared back to back. Every few obstacles is good though! It would also be cool if it was the same driver of both vehicles. Perhaps the owners flip a coin for who will drive the others rig or something. (or switch drivers halfway through) Thank you for the vid!
Lol my 97 with a stock power plant e locker 4.88 re gear could put both trucks to shame with toy tech 3.5 front and rear with a three link and not the hastle of putting in an engine swap if anything slap an ls in it
