Love all the trucks like how you guys give them names very fitting. Keep up the awesome work nice to see you saving them trucks and putting them back to work...
Rick on my 1960s wrecker I got a painless wiring harness and redid all wiring for dash and engine compartment now to.also..and now it runs like a champ too...
*Rick I love seeing all the old vehicles running again... They were built to last and much easier to work on, than the wheels of today that are all electronic. 🙂nz*
@@classictruckranch *Yep 1983 was a huge game changer on working on cars for me too... one wrong move with certain electronics could kill ya... I was like nup.. that was it... I prefer the older vehicles... as there really is something about them... the look of them... everytime I see any older car out on the roads ... my head turns. 🙂.*
Now these are the videos that drew me in. I love your ranch stuff, but I can't wait to see some more of these someday. Never tire of the revival stuff and dream of road-tripping the USA in an old truck or car of some sort. Love it ❤
Awesome rewind brother and little sister awesome adventure with yall as always pray yall have an awesome day I really enjoy watching your adventures progress along with humbleness !! Say hi to everyone for me GOD bless yall 🙏🏾
Heres a tip for you. If you want to see if an older motor runs take a jumper wire from the positive side of battery to positive side of coil and jump the starter solenoid and as long as you have spark [you might have to adjust points or replace the condenser] and of course a spritz of fuel she'll let you know if shell run!!! Good luck thats an awesome truck!!J
Homers looking good, hes alive. You didn't lot to work to him. Like watch your videos and I enjoy them. What's your digging out of the bushes? What's you rewire truck move summer? You're nice trucks that you have.
Excellent video Classic Truck Rescue Rick :) , Jamie :) also on ground battery cable to fire wall also put one on Alternator mount plate up top from battery or fire wall with 10 to 14 gauge with big eyes ignition to with steal washer ! That give strong starter turn over also Alternator recharge battery and electronics strong power to plus full amps to ! Also that wire pigtail off ground battery pigtail called Memory wire! Also on that GM Delco Alternator does have external regulator on 2 pins plug inside do need hook one for gauge also key ignition switch to or 1959 has own separate box for Regulartor too ! One thing Reverse beeper to hook up too!
New to the channel. Love the old cool trucks. Hard to concentrate on what you’re talking about with the loud background music & need some better lighting at night. 😂 Keep up the good work.
When you have one blinker and doesn't blink check the other blinker on same side old vehicles when one goes on but the other blinker on that side is malfuctioning
the back wall of your battery box / upper left / top corner / is a 5/16 bolt hole / this is for a 6 inch ground cable so the battery will not fall out / positive battery cable will comes up behind the box next to the wall / this is factory and it looks better

I lost interest in working on cars made after 1985 unless I have to. Older cars are fun to work on.

Yes, a lot of the older cars had integrated turn signal circuits.
Perhaps you could run Homer on Duff beer.....
I believe I just secured Homer's new drivetrain and it probably will run on that stuff.
Brian ever make it down to the Classic Truck Ranch?
Not Yet. I will invite him after Homer's "Makeover".
Runs real good? Sounds like it’s running on 7 cylinders!
It had literally sat in the bushes for 12-years before I fired it up. Listen to it in the next video after I'd had a chance to tune it up.
I'm here for Jaimie 🔥❤🔥 oh n for the vehicles lol
Oh... I understand Completely. I did get me a good one.
Run a hot wire to the distributor and cross jump the starter 🤔 if it don't crank check the module in the distributor 🤔
Thanks Eddie.

Thank you Marlo. The factory cables were a bit on the thins side, but I believe you are right about the routing.
