    this could be my favorite ever conor song, lyrically, and that is high praise.

      Mine as well! Not sure why really. Now I am fascinated with Frank Lloyd Wright architecture as well. Found out one of the only buildings of his left standing in Canada is on a little known island near my home town of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

      Every time I think I can nail down my favorite Conor Song, “lyrically”, he comes out with another absolute mind blower and then I’m at square one again 🤷🏻‍♂️

    There is so much emotion when you hear this. Such a sad story, of one the greatest architects America ever produced.

    Many Frank Lloyd Wright houses/structures look like Mayan temples. I believe he had in mind that after this civilization is over, someone will come up on a Wright building, totally gutted but the concrete frame, carved Mayan designs, and covered in vines like something out of Indiana Jones... they'll wonder who built it and why. I believe likewise thats what Conor had in mind when he says "sacred till the end". This song makes me think of what footprint ill leave behind.
