WOW! Just found out why my button fell in, The battery swelled up and was pushing the screen off the iPod. I was just listening to it this morning in bed. Would have been nice if it exploded or caught fire.
Hey guys I wanted to ask a question regarding these types of iPods. So I just got an iPod touch 7th gen recently and I’ve noticed that the home button won’t respond if it’s pressed on the lower edge of it, I’m still wondering if it’s designed like this so if you guys could give me some info it would really help me. Thx

Is the button logo part supposed to be able to spin?
A quick, and easier, fix is to fold a tiny piece of plastic. (Like the film that covers new screens, etc.) And glue it on top of the dome.
