I couldn't believe we blew a time out in defense with 2 minutes left in half. Then when we got the ball back we had 1 timeout and almost 2 minutes still and we decide to not run a 2 minute offense. Then in second half we used our last timeout with 5 minutes still left in game. The clock management is absolutely disgusting.
AP though isn’t getting on his coordinators to make adjustments. He’s in over his head. Getsy is the guy AP wanted as his oc as he said his philosophy matched what he wanted on offense. So here we are. This is an AP issue. He should of got on Getsy weeks ago to make these adjustments but he hasn’t because he doesn’t know what he’s doing
The defense didn't keep us in the game. Our defense is bad. Mahomes could just drive down the field and score. Kelce was frequently wide open. That's not good defense. Our offense kept us in the game for a while, surprisingly, because we kept up with the Chiefs, until the end of the first half when AP and Getsy thought it'd be a good idea to start playing to lose.

So true on getting Gardner out of the pocket. Every play he made he was getting out. I knew at the start of the season if they were going to make him sit in the pocket it'd be bad. He's not Tom Brady. Most quarterbacks now have some mobility and are on offenses that allow them to move around. Mahomes is so good because of what he does when he leaves the pocket. He's not that good when he's stuck in there. Talk about putting the ball in our playmakers hands, Gardner is a play maker when he can use his feet. Let him do it. He showed today what he can do when he does. Play calling play calling play calling. We need some qb draws and bootlegs and a lot more designed roll outs. If aidan was in, this might work because he's a pocket passer. Gardner is more accurate out and about. You can see the potential no matter who's in. The fact we can't do anything outside scripts is purely on coaching. We need an offense that the guys can have some control over and make adjustments. The only thing you can blame AP for is for sticking to his guns on letting Getsy have so much control. The offense works, but you can't script 50 plays.
