Vegas has a perpetual captive audience of people who come from all over the country to gamble and attend an NFL game, be it fans of the visiting team, or Raiders fans from other states who don't often get a chance to see their team in person. The quality of the on-field product is irrelevant. The Raiders also have no problem selling out their luxury suites because the hotels and casinos buy them up to use as comps for their high-profile customers. That doesn't even address the fact that pro sports teams make the vast majority of their money from TV/Media broadcast deals, not ticket and merchandise sales. The NFL's broadcast packages, shared equally amonst the 32 teams, are so massive that every team is guaranteed a profit before the first kickoff of the season.

Honest question: Sean McVay in '22 when Stafford was injured was terrible on offense (ranked 28th in points). Mike MacDonald of the Dolphins couldn't score without Tua the last 5 weeks (13 points per game). If top play-callers can't move the ball with backup QBs, why is Getsy supposed to?
Honest question: you didn't know the season was over in the person when they had two backup QBs? Even the Dolphins and Rams struggled with backup QBs last two years, and those are amazing coaching staffs It's a QB League

I went to the game , grew up going to games in Oakland at least when they played in Cali our stadium was full of silver and black and now we let visiting teams take over our stadium and cant score with 4 chances at the 3 yd line....I wont be spending money on another game in Vegas until they actually put a competitive product on the field

i have always been a Raiders fan, a youth football coach/offensive coordinator/head coach and won a youth Superbowl with my son at QB who was recruited to Minnesota. So when i watch a game i see it from a coaches perspective and you sir broke it down perfectly in scheme and took the words right out of my mouth except the cursing because i am also a Church Pastor. But great analysis my man and this problem starts with a change at the offensive coordinator and if not mark my words AP will loose his job too and rightly so. i believe that in this order these changes must happen. Getsy needs to get fired yesterday, and unfortunately so does AP. Then let Ridder play and get a shot, and at the end of the Year get a New Head coach/Offensive Coordinator, keep the Defensive coach for sure or promote him, and go get your future QB Sanders, Gabriel whoever and keep the team intact. i love Jacoby Myers he is solid and leaves it all on the field. Try get a better running back but i do like Mattison and under a better coordinator he can be real good. So thank you for your analysis and spot on. Always no matter what RAAAAAIDEEERRRS!!
One thing about the running game is when you dont throw the ball downfield the defense compresses the field and play closer to the line of scrimmage. Kind of like the Super Bowl when Gruden knew all we threw was short passes so they compressed the field which makes it tough to run the ball. Al Davis knew you have to back the defense up with the deep threat to open the run game and intermediate routes.
At the end zone there is no deep. There are left and right middle and back corners. We for most the underneath the scrimmage on weak formation of shotgun run. If running end zone you use power formation pick such as power I not shotgun . Also you don’t have Munford on the WR stance area to run inside 😂 Luke Getzy’s Bears Justin failed experiment.

Bro I went to the game too and the only highlight was Cypress Hill @ half time. The worst offensive coaching I’ve ever witness. Play calling was horrific , not one pass attempted passed 15 yards . Same run play called 3 times in a row . That OC needs to be grilled and thrown in the trash. In my section ( C-112 ) there was more Chiefs fans than Raiders. Can’t believe we took ridder out after 1 down Jesus. Didn’t even get to see him throw the ball. What an indecisive team! The only thing the raiders can double down on is running the damn ball (which cost us a touchdown off that interception). It is clear as day Luke needs to be gone and I am baffled on how Luke is still in the office after that poor play calling on second half. It’s so easy to just throw to bowers in red zone! 2+2=4
How surprised is anyone by this? I know at the beginning of the season we all have our optimism with a bunch of "if this happens then the Raiders in the Super Bowl" thoughts because we want something to hang on to. But if your honest with. yourself and you think about this roster, this coaching staff, and we put our basics of football business hat on, I can't say i'm surprised. This is what was known before the season started. 1. The Raiders had two backup caliber QB's on their roster 2. Adams' contract gives him $44 million in 2025 and without a restructure he isn't going to stay and the only way he restructures is if he puts up good numbers. That was never going to happen with this QB room. I was hoping we trade him the second we didn't get a QB in the draft honestly, probably could have got more for him. 3. Seemingly, at the behest or at least with the positive endorsement of Adams, we hired one of the worst OCs in the league. 4. We no longer had an RB1 - Letting Jacobs walk was criminal. Yes, it's risky to pay RB, but he's one of the top in the game, and had carried our offense for a while. 5. AP has zero experience aside from a handful of games last season. I'm still optimistic that AP can/will be a great coach, but right now he's the worst coach in the division by a country mile. So, how many people are truly surprised by how poorly we are doing? I'm not. I was hopeful that we wouldn't be this bad, but I'm not surprised. I think the 4 and out from the Chief's 3 yard line is a perfect microcosm of all of this. A touchdown should basically be automatic with an offense that has Brock Bowers on it, but we managed to net -5 yards on first and goal from the 3. Brock is the only offensive player who shouldn't be shopped, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't ask to be shopped if the offense isn't cleaned up in a year or two.
They played the Chiefs closer than I thought they would. Antonio Pierce and the staff should be allowed to show what improvements they can make. They have to be replaced at the end of the season but this is no time to hunt for a new coach. Try and win all the games and see what happens. Unless of course they want to rehire Gruden. He would come straight away I think.

The worst offensive coaching I’ve ever witness. Play calling was horrific , not one pass attempted passed 15 yards . Same run play called 3 times in a row . That OC needs to be grilled and thrown in the trash. In my section ( C-112 ) there was more Chiefs fans than Raiders. Nevertheless , I will remain a Raider fan but damn bro… this is annoying .

Can’t believe we took ridder out after 1 down Jesus. Didn’t even get to see him throw the ball. What an indecisive team! The only thing the raiders can double down on is running the damn ball (which cost us a touchdown off that interception). It is clear as day Luke needs to be gone and I am baffled on how Luke is still in the office after that poor play calling on second half. It’s so easy to just throw to bowers in red zone! 2+2=4

How surprised is anyone by this? I know at the beginning of the season we all have our optimism with a bunch of "if this happens then the Raiders in the Super Bowl" thoughts because we want something to hang on to.
But if your honest with. yourself and you think about this roster, this coaching staff, and we put our basics of football business hat on, I can't say i'm surprised. This is what was known before the season started.
1. The Raiders had two backup caliber QB's on their roster
2. Adams' contract gives him $44 million in 2025 and without a restructure he isn't going to stay and the only way he restructures is if he puts up good numbers. That was never going to happen with this QB room. I was hoping we trade him the second we didn't get a QB in the draft honestly, probably could have got more for him.
3. Seemingly, at the behest or at least with the positive endorsement of Adams, we hired one of the worst OCs in the league.
4. We no longer had an RB1 - Letting Jacobs walk was criminal. Yes, it's risky to pay RB, but he's one of the top in the game, and had carried our offense for a while.
5. AP has zero experience aside from a handful of games last season. I'm still optimistic that AP can/will be a great coach, but right now he's the worst coach in the division by a country mile.
So, how many people are truly surprised by how poorly we are doing? I'm not. I was hopeful that we wouldn't be this bad, but I'm not surprised. I think the 4 and out from the Chief's 3 yard line is a perfect microcosm of all of this. A touchdown should basically be automatic with an offense that has Brock Bowers on it, but we managed to net -5 yards on first and goal from the 3. Brock is the only offensive player who shouldn't be shopped, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't ask to be shopped if the offense isn't cleaned up in a year or two.
They played the Chiefs closer than I thought they would. Antonio Pierce and the staff should be allowed to show what improvements they can make. They have to be replaced at the end of the season but this is no time to hunt for a new coach. Try and win all the games and see what happens. Unless of course they want to rehire Gruden. He would come straight away I think.
