Ok so if I read the comments correctly nobody has educated you on the video so far. Feel free to read this if you're interested in some of the story behind this:
You've read that Eskimo Callboy is a German metalcore band that likes to switch up genres and not take itself too seriously.
Furthermore, the guy in the front with the white clothes on is their new singer, they kind of introduced him with this video.
Another fun fact would be that the dancing group you see at the end of the video is a handful of German youtubers that are all friends from Berlin. The most popular one is HandofBlood, who is known to be friends with the band, which is why he was starring in the music video for "MC Thunder" already. The one in the front who's dancing pretty well is Kalle, a smaller UA-camr who is mostly known for his "Spandauer Hardbass" video (100k special, I can really recommend it) at the moment. He used this song and a full alternate video of him and his friends dancing as a 200k special.
Yep, that's it. Sorry for writing such a big paragraph. Also, your reaction was gold. The confusion but not hating it was so relatable, it was the same for me when I was watching it for the first time xD

Really liked this one.
Eskimo Callboy is a german metalcore band who fuse metal with electronic/trance music.
They are actually really good and known to not taking themselves very seriously (as you could probably see in the video)
I personally like their really heavy stuff like "Crystals" and "Vodoo Circus", but they also have very good songs that have a more trance/electronic feeling to them like "Final Dance" or "My Own Summer"
I would really appreciate it if you would check one of the songs out!

Little info:
This are all German UA-camrs that have a separate vid for the 200k special for @Kalle (200k subs and he is the one with the blond hair in the middle), there is also @HandofBlood (1.9 Million subs, he is the one with the afro) he is I would say one of his best m8s and there are also some smaller friends with 10-100k subs.
The special vid is on the channel from Kalle and it’s the same song but with an other music video.
His 100k special was uploaded exactly 1 year ago and got already 3 million views and is a song like russian hardbass called Spandauer Hardbass (it’s legendary)

Their style has been called "Trancecore" over here in Germany, sometimes they use it themselves since they lack a better word :D Party Metal hits it fine as well I guess.
They started out pretty much like this, a fusion of Metalcore and Trance/Techno, with really stupid, funny or dirty lyrics. Their recent albums ("Crystals" and "Rehab") where a little more serious, maybe because their former lead singer and songwriter wanted to do more serious metalcore stuff. He has his own Band-Project now though and this is the first song with their new lead singer, and seems like they will do a mix of Party songs like this and still some of the more serious stuff (they already teased a second song).
I've seen them live last year on a local festival in Germany, and this was the most fun I've ever had so far at a metal concert (and I've seen quite a few) :D

I discovered this band when I randomly decided to check out this video because it was in my recommended. I'm so glad because I've listened to all of their music over the past few days. Definitely gotta check out MC Thunder next!

@@jrp182 It means that both bands are in (close) contact / friends with each other (common gigs / concerts / tour) because both of them don't fit musically in the standard metalcore genre / scene.

They like to make metal with a funny/party vibe or pop chorus. The people in the video are famous youtuber in Germany. This is also their first single with the new lead singer.

The clothes and the electronic beats are part of the Euroculture and a category of music called "Hardstyle". A famous German Hartstyle artist, who played a big part in the evolution of Hardstyle is Scooter, who is the inspiration for this beat (for comparison listen to Scooter - Maria (i like it loud), you can instantly hear the similarity). The hairstyle and the clothes are based on the time, where Hardstyle was very popular (idk around 2000).

The EDM genre you're looking for is hardstyle, I don't know a ton about EDM and it's bajillion genres, but I had a hardstyle kick for a little while a few years back.

That electonic style is actually hardsytle. They made some kind of vlog where they announced they changed their lead singer and already produced songs with him the first of which has hardstyle elements in it :D

Eskimo Callboy is a german Metal band, they have pop musik lyrics, and Metalcore and sometimes they used Electronic parts and stuff , i call it party metal. I see them live 3 or 4 times its a loot off fun :D

Eskimo Callboy is party metal for sure. This has been their style since like 2010 with the release of their original EP. Fun Fact, The clean vocalist is new. Their old vocalist will always be my favorite but this new guy is pretty good and fits the band pretty well from what i've heard.
