this part always seemed melancholy to me, even on my first playthrough i think i knew... i was getting close to the end. that this would be my last friend. an annoying friend, but my last. the rain deer stopped being fussy at a certain point, too. like it knew. maybe it had seen those before, going down into the depths. vultures had stopped ambushing me while i was there, still vulnerable under an open sky. maybe they knew. vultures never seemed the respectful type but maybe they had seen those before. and seen them not come back. and known. the noodleflies kept their distance, as always. but a bit more, curiously. maybe they had seen before and again and before and again and knew what was about to happen. "So down into the depths you go as many others before you, drawn to the void again and again, an endless drip drip drip." i knew, the rain deer knew, the vultures knew, the noodleflies knew. i wasnt coming back that time.
I love how you wrote a whole ass book about the rain deer ride that sounds so perfectly peaceful compared to the actual game and ride, it sounds nice know that you have at least one gentle giant helping you through even if they lack brain cells.
And then you have me who went to the depths before even meeting lttm, got turned into slugcat paste by the guardians and decided that I probably shouldn't be there. Maybe that's why my time in farm arrays wasn't as peaceful, they knew that I'd come back.
i got this exact music while riding on a deer down to the subterranean entrance for around a good minute. it was the most peaceful thing i’ve ever experienced in that game
This song is perfect for a last goodbye to the world, it makes me so nostalgic. especially since the first thing i saw of rain world, and what got me into it in the first place, are the rain deer. it truly is a cycle
This looks great! If you're seeking any critique, I'd recommend having the Iterator appear motionless in the perspective, maybe moving along with the Rain Deer and the Slugcat at the same speed to achieve the perspective of a much greater distance! I'm always happy to see more Rain World animations, especially with this gem of a track. Thank you!
I was about to say this. If the iterators appear motionless it would create a sense of scale because iterators are HUGE! The render is top notch though I love it.
This is actually amazing, brought back a lot of memories for me, I have a suggestion for you, if you could do “the coast” track that would actually be amazing
Oh hi there, your 3d animation skills are amazing... i cant even imagine how hard it was to make the grass move like this... and how long it took to render. Thought you were a new youtuber, but after checking your channel i remembered that i watched your Urban jungle video before Keep up doing such good atmospheric animations, i literally put them in a playlist to listen and watch to while drawing :)
Seeing both superstructures standing and also featuring Survivor... now I want a campaign where nothing is different except the whole rot incident never happened...
well its lovely but that must not be a Rain Deer every time i try to ride one something glitches out and we both go flying off into the sky never to be seen again.
This does look really good, and I don't want to be rude, but this does not look like farm arrays. I mean this is impressive, I couldn't do it, but it seems a little barren. Still, good work. Looks great.
agreed, spent alot of time struggling with some aspects and didn't rly finish the environment properly. Less physics sims and more details in the next one ^-^

Finally, a Rain Deer that doesn’t turn around midway through the ride
For most playthroughs the Raindeer ride is the last time the Survivor ever sees the surface world. Taking the boat across the Styx in a way
shit, never thought about it like this.
For you though, there is another way. The old path. Go to the west past the Farm Arrays 🤖

hmm, i think i smell underrated

@@CrunchyCat636 my second playthrough had rain deer ride hell but thats less fitting of the theme XD

Huh, it didn’t randomly turn around halfway, so it seems better than most rain deer
Pretty cool…i see that iterator superstructure in the background
This is a goodbye to a world. A final farewell from a survivor of the extremes monsoons.
Wow, today I was thinking of creating the same thing in blender. Well executed, love the attention to fur.

Yup, that's where the song plays and it's perfect and beautiful

Don't worry guys, survivour just went back home to the big ol' tree. Alls good
Yes... the big tree of light at the end of the world.
Amazing animation.

It's unfair how beautiful and atmospheric this animation is. Fantastic job!

i've actually done the coast! the first one i did in fact :) although it is quite a bit simpler than this one
That looks really good!
As saint, I think I killed- I mean ascended every Rain Deer that I've seen just because one dipped me in tall grass earlier in the playthrough.
well done
your videos are so impressive, never stop creating!!

about deer, i think it is rabbit figure and sheep soft wool
that fur a bit clumped due to moisture
big clouds

The structures in the background should be much bigger, especially the iterator can, but otherwise this is beautiful.
the scale of the iterators is off... they're much bigger with a lot more distance between them
amazing animation though!
Wow, it's perfect!
Thanks, I love it
beautiful
This is so good. Fantastic job
I died so many times in this location (EVEN WITH CHEATS!!!) and then I found out that I could not bother and climb this MOOSE😢
Oohoo, I love this!
Can't see sky islands in the background 7/10
Deer must heve 4 legs, not 6.

yeah, but to be fair we rarely see the outside worm grass patches, so god knows what it looks like in 3D

Hype.
this bro need to recreate rain world in 3d!!!
Imo the iterator shouldve been bigger
Как ты живую траву анимировал 😮
but the slugcat is meant to hold on the antlers
not sit on the head :)
cool animation tho
Clearly not a rain dear it has six legs
