Hello Roman Catholics and non Roman Catholics. Can anyone honestly say after the factual information I shared in this video that Catholicism does not teach Mary worship? Some of you will be open and honest, others will be MarySplainers trying hard to defend the unbiblical teachings of Mariology. My hope is this helps wake some people up on these things and turn from the idolatry of Mary, TRUST IN GOD NOT MARY. Please like, leave comments, share this video, and subscribe. I can’t see Catholicism, teaching the worship of Mary or saints individual people, and some churches might push it a little bit but it’s nothing serious, neither can we Catholics find it anywhere in the Bible that it teaches us to worship Mary! remember, even our best deeds in the world are like filthy rags before the Lord,
I just watched Billy Crone talking about secret societies, cults, etc. on the Charisma Media channel. That video is from 3 months ago. He spoke about the freemasons or satanists infiltrating the churches today. They are about leading people away from Jesus. I would not at all be surprised if this marian garbage was brought in by the freemason or satanic cultists to make people take their eyes off of Jesus and put them on someone who is not God.
The problem is that a good deal of your information is not factual. At the very least you've made serious errors in your analysis. See my comments below. Peace of Christ to you.
I don't have to watch this to know that what you present will be true. I will watch though and comment about my own experiences in a Catholic church compared to an Orthodox gathering.

I do believe that folks don't think that they are praying/worshipping Mary but it sure looks like it. We serve a jealous God who doesn't share his Glory with anyone or anything. The problem is that Protestants don’t actually worship God. They venerate God, so when Catholics venerate Mary it looks like worship. Worship is sacrifice! The sacrifice of the Mass is only ever offered to the Triune Godhead. What kind of sacrificing goes on at the church where you attend? If there isn’t any than there isn’t any true worship. Praying and singing are not biblical worship.
@@jsharp9735 Which of the many satanic heretical Protestants should I listen to. Second, Eastern Orthodox also venerate mother Mary, so what is your point.
The real question is...Do these so-called You Tube Catholic apologists have the blessing of their diocese bishop or even their lead parish priest? If not, they are not qualified "...for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training..." They have enough deacons, priests and bishops on here who are qualified by the RCC to do the job. Just ask them where they got their authority if they are not ordained.
Great video. The scary part to me is that people like Trent Horn come off so polite and convincing, that to a new christian it is easy to be led astray by them
People like Joel Osteen are the most dangerous. They seem super positive and have motivational speeches but they lack the true and full Gospel. People follow a human’s personality instead of God Almighty
You tell me whether or not this sounds like Marian worship: “O Mother of Perpetual Help, thou art the dispenser of all the gifts which God grants to us miserable sinners; and for this end He has made thee so powerful, so rich, and so bountiful, in order that thou mayest help us in our misery. Thou art the advocate of the most wretched and abandoned sinners who have recourse to thee: come to my aid, for I recommend myself to thee. In thy hands I place my eternal salvation, and to thee I entrust my soul. Count me among thy most devoted servants; take me under thy protection, and it is enough for me. For, if thou protect me, I fear nothing; not from my sins, because thou wilt obtain for me the pardon of them; nor from the devils, because thou art more powerful than all hell together; nor even from Jesus, my judge, because by one prayer from thee He will be appeased. But one thing I fear: that in the hour of temptation I may through negligence fail to call on thee and thus perish miserably. Obtain for me, therefore, the pardon of my sins, love for Jesus, final perseverance, and the grace ever to have recourse to thee, O Mother of Perpetual Help.” Just some points I saw in the Marian prayer: 1. God is our Helper NOT Mary(Psalm 121) 2. Mary isn’t “so powerful” JESUS has all the power in Heaven and Earth(Matthew 28:18) 3. Jesus is our Advocate NOT Mary(1 John 2:2) 4. Mary cannot do absolutely nothing for Roman Catholics “eternal salvation” JESUS FINISHED WORK upon the Cross for our sin debt is all we need for our salvation(Romans 3:24-26) 5. God protects us NOT Mary(Psalm 91) 6. God pardons our sins NOT Mary(Psalm 130:1-4; 1 John 1:9) 7. We should always call upon God NOT Mary(Psalm 50:15) God bless you
Mary is not the Gifts Dispenser. Matt 7:11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! This makes Jesus into being an unjust judge who should be feared, except for those who have a way to evade his fierce anger by getting Mary to make Jesus be a respecter of persons, who gives preference to those who ask Mary to nag Jesus into giving them special treatment. The perpetual sinlessness of Mary is needed in order to make her be Mediatrix, which would usurp another item that belongs to Christ alone. The whole reason that Jesus could be our mediator is because he was sinless, and now they've given that to Mary too. And Mary also needed to be bodily ascended to heaven too, so she can be like Jesus in that way too. Heb 4:14 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Heb 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
@@iggyantioch I misspoke and corrected it in the next post as being prior to the gospel beginning to be preached in Acts 2. No Mary is not participating in "Jesus's work", and did not do so in the gospels when Jesus preached, or in Acts/Epistles when the apostles were preaching. Praying FOR people is something that ALL christians (saints) do, and isn't something relegated to a pastor, and that prayer is TO god. And even if it were, then the RCC has plenty of paid clergy to get that job done. And Mary is not preaching the gospel, lol. And preaching the gospel is something that all christians should be able to do, Hebrews 5:12.

John 19:26-27 This is where honor of Mary comes from. 10:38 This reminded me of something. Few weeks ago I was in Tenerife, we visited some 'churches' there but they were all Roman Catholic with statues everywhere. We visited this perticular 'church' in Tacaronte was beautiful on the inside, but once again statues everywhere; there came a man up next to us who worked at that church and I literally saw him bowing down before a statue of Mary saying something in a low voice, then walked into a excluded room; he walked straight past a statue of Jesus. I saw people lighting candles and using prayer beads for hail Mary's, almost every so much kilometers there's a RCC but a Protestant church is kind of hard to find because they have these small places almost unnoticable and the RCC has these huge buildings and monuments for everyone to see. I wish for a change to happen, for all to come to the truth of Jesus Christ and place their faith in Jesus Christ and that they let go of all this idolatry and false doctrines from the papacy. @@Neil_Catholic Neil, you need to understand something - would it be possible to have a devotion to Mary without Jesus? Marian devotion and devotion to any of the other Saints is grounded in the grace Jesus Christ communicated to them through His birth, life, suffering, death and resurrection. Do you somehow have proof that it angers Jesus when living people on earth, members of the Church Militant find it to be a source of joy and strength to turn in prayer to members of the Church Triumphant in Heaven? Does it anger Jesus when the faithful on earth honor the life of a great hero of the faith, a person who did extrodinary acts of devotion to Christ? Michael Lofton is making the case that idolatry is a deliberate intent to worsgip something other than God. Not only is that false, but it goes to show you how Roman Catholic and Eastern orthodox have to do mental gymnastics to justify idolatry. When the bronze serpent of Moses was broken down, God commended that action. What being done to the icon? They were burning incense and made it sacred. If you're a Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodoxy, I'd call you to repent and put your trust in God for your salvation

I really dont understand the whole consecration business to the saints. I really dont. The only being I will ever consecrate myself to is God almighty. And directly to him.
@@iggyantioch I affirm all dogmas too. Consecrating in the sense of treating the saint as a Patron saint or spiritual-personal intercessor is one thing - but dedicating "ones all being", "surrendering one's full self" - Nah - I draw the line there. Not for me. In fact I consider this idolatry if understood to be taken literally.
The Catholic Church has different degrees of worship: dulia, hyper dulia, and latria. Dulia is the honor given to the saints. Hyper dulia is the honor given to Mary alone, as the greatest of the saints. Latria is the honor given to God alone. In contrast, the Bible always ascribes honor, in the context of worship, to God alone (1 Chronicles 29:11; 1 Timothy 1:17; 6:16; Revelation 4:11; 5:13). Even if there were biblical support for different levels of worship, there still would be no biblical support for offering lower/lesser levels of worship to anyone other than God. Only God is worthy of worship, adoration, praise (Nehemiah 9:6; Revelation 4:11; 15:4), and veneration, no matter how it is defined. Mary’s worth comes from the fact that God choose her for a glorious role and saved her from her sins through the death of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:47). The saints’ worth comes from the fact that God saved them, transformed them, and then used them in mighty and amazing ways. May we all, with Mary and the saints, fall on our knees and worship the only One who is worthy.
The Bible teaches that Sarah is our mother in heavan as she is the mother of the promised son. A metaphor for spiritual freedom as opposed to Hagars children born from the flesh and impatience and lack of faith that God would indeed follow through on his promise.
So they have replaced statues of Venus with those of Mary. I studied polytheism throughout the world before I knuckled down and finally called myself a Christian. Venus isn't a bad character to be drawn to as the Goddess of Love although the Catholics have replaced Venus with Mary obviously.
So hard to listen to this as it wreaks of blaspheme. From the perspective of the Eastern Orthodox Church, none of this type of veneration exists. Saints, apostles etc are not worshipped although given thanks to for their contribution and courage in spreading the word of God. Our priests also marry and have families, therefore that other insidious problem rife among the Catholic priesthood is unheard of. Commercial inclusion of Easter and Christmas in the home is forbidden. Christmas Yule trees, fertility choccy bunnies at Easter

The EO are appalled at almost everything Rome does, up until they do it themselves. I have heard EOs comment that Rome takes Marian devotion too far, and yet when you look at the EO prayers on Mary - they are, in substance, identical.
@@Neil_Catholic thanks I was curious about that because I didn't even think about that until after I was listening to this video and I was wondering what differences there were, if there were any
@@Neil_Catholic they call Mary theotokos, so yes, they do venerate Mother Mary, the disagreement is how was she sinless but does not mean what satanic Protestants mean as eastern Orthodoxy do venerate saints.
@@chrislucastheprotestantview One major difference is that Rome has a tendency to "dogmatise" things, whereas EOs dont (even if the doctrine is as strongly to be held as a dogma) - meaning they dont formally define it as such. They also differ on the exact understanding Rome has concerning Mary in details. But they use very lofty language like Catholics to praise Mary so there are extremely similar to the Catholics in the way the view Mary as central to the Christian faith - while differing on the details. They also have different Marian piety than Catholics - for example they dont say the rosary (which is THE main way in which Catholics do their devotions to Mary). I dont know what their equivalent of the rosary is, though.

A point of clarification.. just because there are prayers of consecration to Mary within Catholicism, doesn't mean every Catholic prays them, or has to pray them, or even agree with the language used in them. Some Catholics pray them, hardly all of them. Ave Maria is a standard Catholic prayer. Consecration to Mary is not a standard Catholic prayer.
Whether they claim they don't "worship" Mary (or a venerated saint), they do have another problem. Let me set my qualifications for my post. I received 5/7 sacraments in the RCC. Baptism, first confession, first communion, confirmation and matrimony. The other two I didn't qualify for, holy orders and last rites. Oh, and I was, also, an alter boy for a number of years at 4 different parishes and sang in the childrens' choir and went to parochial school. When I was a Catholic from birth to the age 22, I used to practice this little ritual, I would say all Catholics have done one time or another. We would go into the sanctuary and off to one side was an "image" of Mary on one side and/or some venerated dead saint on the other. We would go to one side or the other, usually the side with the image of Mary, proudly CLANK!! a coin (never let a good deed go unnoticed) into the metal box, light a candle, kneel before that (graven)image, usually bow our heads in holy reverence and begin to pray. Now, the Catholics will tell you that they aren't praying TO Mary but, merely, praying THRU her. OK, let's place that piece of cake in front of them for now. However, when I read from THEIR version of the Bible, the New Catholic Bible, Exodus 20 the 2nd Commandment reads: 3 You shall not have other gods instead of me. 4 You shall not make idols or any image of things that are in the heavens above or that are upon the earth or that are in the waters under the earth. 5 You shall not bow before them NOR shall you serve them. Notice the term "NOR" being used. Remember, this is THEIR bible. The term "nor" indicates there are two different and separate actions being spoken about here. So, they can claim all they want about not praying "to" Mary and the dead saints, but they can't squirm out of bowing down before them. Either way they are committing blasphemy. Looks like they aren't going to eat that cake.

Right out the gate it is shown again, these topics are a gaslight to the matter of authority. As long as people continue declaring themselves the sole infallible rule of faith we will keep seeing divers views on everything. And yes, sola scriptura is simply authority to interpret, otherwise there would be unity. That said, does worship require sacrifice?
Anything you venerate other than God is idolatry, you can venerate money, you can venerate many things in your life, yet we are supposed to venerate God above averything, yet catholics use tricks to say it's veneration not worship, but worship isn't just a prayer, or praising someone, or calling something or someone God, it's to serve, and we see clearly their veneration isn't just honor, but worship, they make event, books, and sessions in the church singing and walking like a ceremonial day to supposedly "ONLY VENERATION". That's idolatry, that's lying to themselves. *Btw, his argument about morning for someone who died, well isn't Mary alive? Isn't their argument to "ask" to angels for prayer? So his argument is just exposing their lies, they play with words, yet their actions prove their idolatry.
If you are taught that tradition is above the bible you would believe all of this. I came to my faith without such instruction and just read the bible, which clearly shows their whole approach is wrong. They will not see their error as they are not encouraged to read the bible but even if they do, they seenit through what they have been taught
Well they don’t believe tradition is above Scripture, at least it’s not taught but it seems that way at times. The problem is they believe their traditions are equal with Scripture, even when it goes against Scripture. The answer is as you said, digging into the Bible to see what it teaches accurately.

I can only think that the worship/veneration of Mary and the saints led to one of the greatest apostasies, Islam. Why would Muslims think the Trinity was the Father, Son and Mary if not from seeing Christians praying to Mary? How much confusing would come from seeing statues and icons bowed down to? @@JoseGarcia-M4Y4N I just always thought it funny the Bible didn’t use the gods name Ishtar. The Bible used her title, the queen of heaven, because the Bible wanted to make a point with the title queen of heaven. At least that’s the way I see it.
@Glenp66 The title of "Cloud Rider" assigned to YHWH in the OT is a pagan title (from what I read). Rather, it was a title misappropriated by the pagans. The OT often uses pagan lore to drive home the point that YHWH is the true God compared to all the pagan counterparts. Thus YHWH is the TRUE cloud rider. 16:10 Praying to the departed saints and necromancy are not the same. Necromancy is STILL a mortal sin in Catholicism (CCC 2115-2117). Conflating the two is strawmaning the Catholic position. Second, there are passages in Rev that are used to support intercession of the saints. Granted, there is no specific command or condemnation of the practice of asking intercessions from the departed saints in the NT, but its not true that the Catholic position is totally bereft of Scripture. The fact is, scripture is silent on this. Now one can say Scripture is silent for a reason - but thats a matter of ones interpretation as to what one wants to infer from the said silence.
In Paul’s letter to the Galatians, he addresses those who are following a different gospel than what he and the other apostles are preaching. According to Paul’s words. There exists no other revelation from God or any other gospel. What the apostles preached and put into writing, the New Testament, is God’s final revelation and gospel to the body of Christ. This means anything new that came after the first century is all false including Roman Catholicism, Latter-Day Saints, Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc. If you call me a liar or think I’m wrong then you’re saying the apostles are wrong, you’re saying Jesus. God is wrong. As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 13:5, test yourselves to see if you’re in the faith otherwise you’ll be disqualified.
A man's knowledge or ignorance can be known from the way he interprets scripture. From the way Kelly Powers interprets scripture, he comes across as a most ignorant person. In fact, his interpretation is almost childish. Look at how he interprets Matthew 12:46-50 and Luke 11:27-28. Do these text show that Jesus disregarded his mother? If so Jesus is guilty of dishonouring his mother, which is a sin. Do these texts imply that Jesus thought his mother did not do the will of God, in which case Jesus should appear as a liar. If Jesus really meant as Kelly interprets, then why should we believe in Jesus? The problem is with Kelly and not Jesus. The reason why Kelly has a very low estimation of Mary is because of his faulty interpretation of scripture. If he interprets scripture as the Catholic Church does as it was done by the Church Fathers, then he will perhaps know that Mary was sinless and that Satan was at enmity with her also just as with her seed (Genesis 3:15), her role was not confined to just giving birth to Jesus but sharing in the passion of Jesus for our salvation (Luke 2:35), she is the mother of the new family of Jesus' disciples (John 19:26-27), and so on. Kelly will dismiss all these passages which have a high view of Mary and her role in our salvation, otherwise he cannot remain a Protestant and push his heresies. I am proud to be a Catholic and a humble devotee of Mary. Kelly's objections mean nothing since his biblical understanding of Mary is nothing more than childish.
Exactly, it’s sad really. Our LORD weeps for the ones who do not follow HIS example is loving HIS Mother, whom HE gave to us on the Cross. May God have mercy on those who do not honor HIS Mother.
John 19:25-27 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!”Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. This is really a mystery. Jesus said to Mary behold your son. Was he referring to Himself or the disciple he loved. And Jesus loves all the disciples. How then the confirmation of that disciple was pointed to John. They referred as the gospel was written on the account of John. But he could refer to any of the disciples and not himself. Another mystery is we read some passages about Jesus having brothers and sisters. But are there none of them beside the three Mary's ? While Jesus was on the cross? A great mystery as to why Jesus said to this mystery disciple ; Behold your mother! Why was this disciple whom Jesus love could be no other than His brother James ?
You are very sincere. So much is obvious. However, I feel it is my duty to inform you that you understand hardly anything that you are commenting about - neither, being Protestant, are you able to do so. Consider thus: Mary is visited by the Archangel Gabriel who greets her with a royal greeting and ascribes to her attributes which have never ever been ascribed to any other human. Mary literally becomes the mother of the King of kings - but to you this us irrelevant. Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist, expresses awe and astonishment that so noble a young woman actually vidits her. She plainly states that Mary is worthy of being eulogised. (Read the Gj) Mary herself says that from that moment on all generations will honour her and that in doing so they glorify God. These things have been revealed to the humble and lowly. But Mary haa many enemies and detractors. In Rev. we are read how the dragon and his seed are filled with hatred for her and that they never cease to wage war against her and her seed. Yoy Protestants din't ever guve an ounce of honour to Mart. Even hee name fills you with loathing because you regard it as rmtge name of an idol. Yet none of you are able to discern that your rebirth ciuld only have happened through the sacrifice and suffering of this woman. was made possible . The reason why your flesh can be united with that of Jesus is because Mary's flesh was united to Him. That makes you forever indebted to her - whether you like it or not. And hiw is it thatt you Protestants di nit share tge love and devotion that Jesus has for his mother?

If people made an image of any one of us bible believing saints (like Mary, yes she followed the scriptures) and started venerating it. How happy would we be about that?.... Or would we tell them we must decrease while he increases?
@@iggyantioch Ever virgin? Your early church fathers didnt mention that 🤔. Not that it matters. We follow Gods Word as final authority, if God wanted us to 'venerate' Mary or suspend his 2nd Holy Commandment written in stone for all time, then he would have let us know in his word. But he didnt because he doesnt. Mary was a Jew, do you think she didnt know the 2nd commandment?
At 7:50 you make a factual error in stating that Mary is not mentioned in the book of Acts: Acts 1:14 states that she joined with the Apostles in prayer. You state elsewhere state that the Church Fathers make no mention of Mary. This too is a seriously erroneous statement. As for your assertion that the Rosary is unbiblical, that too is erroneous since the first half of Hail Mary prayer are the words of Holy Scripture itself, the first being the angelic salutation of St. Gabriel ("Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee") and second part being the words of St. Elizabeth when Mary comes to her home in the moments before St. John leaps in her womb ("Blessed art thou and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus"). The rest of the Hail Mary prayer is simply asking for Her prayers ("Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death".) In doing so, am not worshipping Her because She is a person, a created being, not a member of the Holy....."Quadrinity". Pax Christi.
You twisted what Kelly was saying. Start at 7:45 through 8:34 He's saying that John was with Peter in Acts, and Mary wasn't mentioned as being with them. You're quibbling about 1 mention prior to the Ascension, where Mary is doing the praying not being the recipient of prayer. And then you twist what he said about the Church Fathers. He didn't say that they didn't make any mention of her name. "Within the first few hundred years of the early Apostolic Church fathers or leaders, none of them, not a single one gave adoration, veneration, intercession of prayer to Mary, anything outside what we would see that's within the biblical structure of who Mary is." The verse does not say Mary was "full of grace" much less define what that's even supposed to mean, not even in the New American Bible published by the Catholic Church. The New Testament makes numerous mentions of people being either FULL of the Holy Spirit or FILLED with the Holy Spirit, and none of them are about Mary, except possibly where it refers to a large un-named group of Christians. Ephesians 5:18 even has a command for ALL Christians to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
@@houstoneuler No. His statement at 7:55: "We don't see any of that anywhere in the Book of Acts, yet, John is with Peter throughout half of the Book of Acts, and yet where is Mary ever mentioned? Never." In the plain meaning of the word "Never." in this sentence, he is stating that Mary is "Never" mentioned in the Book of Acts. He has made a serious factual error because She is mentioned in Acts 1:12 as I state. For his statement to be true about the Church Fathers, no Church Father would be able to write any statement about the intercessory prayer of Mary. Were there Church Fathers who wrote about the intercessory prayer of Mary? Yes: "Hail to you forever, virgin Mother of God, our unceasing joy, for unto you do I again return. . . . Hail, you fount of the Son’s love for man. . . . Wherefore, we pray you, the most excellent among women, who boast in the confidence of your maternal honors, that you would unceasingly keep us in remembrance. O holy Mother of God, remember us, I say, who make our boast in you, and who in august hymns celebrate your memory, which will ever live, and never fade away." - St. Methodius of Philippi, A.D. 300. "O noble Virgin, truly you are greater than any other greatness. For who is your equal in greatness, O dwelling place of God the Word? To whom among all creatures shall I compare you, O Virgin? You are greater than them all O Covenant, clothed with purity instead of gold! You are the Ark in which is found the golden vessel containing the true manna, that is, the flesh in which divinity resides." - St. Athanasius, A.D. 373. ""Recalling these and other circumstances and imploring the Virgin Mary to bring assistance, since she, too, was a virgin and had been in danger, she entrusted herself to the remedy of fasting and sleeping on the ground." St. Gregory of Nazianzen, A.D. 379 As for the statement "full of grace" (Luke 1:28) that is found at least in the Douay-Rheims Bible, the official English translation from the Latin Vulgate of St. Jerome from the just after the Council of Trent until the 20th century. Your claim that I "twisted" anything is also in error. Peace.
@@andrewrolwes6034 He was talking about Mary not being with John and Peter and having no special exalted status. You're mentioning 1 verse prior to when the Gospel began to be preached which is teaching no doctrine, and there's no mention of Mary being in the content of Peter's Pentecost sermon, nor in any of the teachings of Paul, John, Peter, James, etc. And you're quoting from writings dating from year 300 through 379, which proves Kelly's point of not being in the first few hundred years. Unless you're going to quibble that the bible defines 'few' as being the 8 people on the Ark. You're appealing to an English translation that comes from a Latin translation from the Greek. The actual text doesn't lead to this phrase, much less show that it's giving a hyper-special status onto Mary.
Hey pal you are missing the point massively!!! You said: "At 7:50 you make a factual error in stating that Mary is not mentioned in the book of Acts: Acts 1:14 states that she joined with the Apostles in prayer." Of course Mary is in chapter 1 with the 120, that is not what I was stating against in what I shared. My point was prior that Jesus never taught any special devotion to Mary, and what I said in regards to John and Peter we don't see any mention of that of Mary in the book of Acts, much less in any of the Epistles. So stop misrepresenting what I shared as it was quite clear what I shared was on the special teachings of Mary not mentioned in the book of Acts!. You said: "You state elsewhere state that the Church Fathers make no mention of Mary. This too is a seriously erroneous statement." NO WHERE in the first 300 years of the church fathers and leaders do we find any special teachings of Mary as an intercessor, any of the Marian dogmas, NOTHING!!!! Prove me wrong. The rest of the Hail Mary prayer is simply asking for Her prayers ("Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death".)". Did you even pay attention to what I shared in this video? There is NOTHING of any sort of prayer in Luke 1, NOTHING. There is NOTHING at all in the New Testament of any prayer or special intercession of Mary, NOTHING, therefore it is unbiblical and false.
You said praying/worshiping like they are the same thing. They are not! Worship is sacrifice. What is sacrificed at the “church” services you attend?
God bless Kelly great job brother

The real question is...Do these so-called You Tube Catholic apologists have the blessing of their diocese bishop or even their lead parish priest? If not, they are not qualified "...for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training..."
They have enough deacons, priests and bishops on here who are qualified by the RCC to do the job.
You tell me whether or not this sounds like Marian worship:
“O Mother of Perpetual Help, thou art the dispenser of all the gifts which God grants to us miserable sinners; and for this end He has made thee so powerful, so rich, and so bountiful, in order that thou mayest help us in our misery. Obtain for me, therefore, the pardon of my sins, love for Jesus, final perseverance, and the grace ever to have recourse to thee, O Mother of Perpetual Help.”
Just some points I saw in the Marian prayer:
1. God is our Helper NOT Mary(Psalm 121)
2. Mary isn’t “so powerful” JESUS has all the power in Heaven and Earth(Matthew 28:18)
3. Jesus is our Advocate NOT Mary(1 John 2:2)
4. Mary cannot do absolutely nothing for Roman Catholics “eternal salvation” JESUS FINISHED WORK upon the Cross for our sin debt is all we need for our salvation(Romans 3:24-26)
5. God protects us NOT Mary(Psalm 91)
6. God pardons our sins NOT Mary(Psalm 130:1-4; 1 John 1:9)
7. We should always call upon God NOT Mary(Psalm 50:15)
God bless you
Mary is not the Gifts Dispenser.

Michael Lofton is making the case that idolatry is a deliberate intent to worsgip something other than God. Not only is that false, but it goes to show you how Roman Catholic and Eastern orthodox have to do mental gymnastics to justify idolatry. Hopefully Michael lofton will learn the truth or see this truth. His false teachings leads people astray.

So hard to listen to this as it wreaks of blaspheme. From the perspective of the Eastern Orthodox Church, none of this type of veneration exists. Saints, apostles etc are not worshipped although given thanks to for their contribution and courage in spreading the word of God.
I probably will upload this to rumble and a few other places. And put the original link in the description
However, when I read from THEIR version of the Bible, the New Catholic Bible, Exodus 20 the 2nd Commandment reads:
3 You shall not have other gods instead of me.

Well they don’t believe tradition is above Scripture, at least it’s not taught but it seems that way at times.
Correct, the Iggy is trolling.

I love Our Blessed Mother and will never turn my back on her. Those who hate a devotion to Mary have something in common with the devil.
💯
Exactly, it’s sad really. Our LORD weeps for the ones who do not follow HIS example is loving HIS Mother, whom HE gave to us on the Cross. May God have mercy on those who do not honor HIS Mother.
venerating Mary to godlike status is what the Devil wants.
The devil hates Mary and loves those who hate and don’t venerate Mary. Those are his chosen.
Jesus son of pantera is dead
John 19:25-27
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

The rest of the Hail Mary prayer is simply asking for Her prayers ("Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death".)
You are putting out enormous amounts of content that you just do not comprehend, and presenting yourself as an expert when youre not. At what point do you cross the line into bearing false witness?

You twisted what Kelly was saying. Start at 7:45 through 8:34 He's saying that John was with Peter in Acts, and Mary wasn't mentioned as being with them. You're quibbling about 1 mention prior to the Ascension, where Mary is doing the praying not being the recipient of prayer. And then you twist what he said about the Church Fathers. He didn't say that they didn't make any mention of her name. "Within the first few hundred years of the early Apostolic Church fathers or leaders, none of them, not a single one gave adoration, veneration, intercession of prayer to Mary, anything outside what we would see that's within the biblical structure of who Mary is."
The verse does not say Mary was "full of grace" much less define what that's even supposed to mean, not even in the New American Bible published by the Catholic Church.
@@houstoneuler
No. His statement at 7:55: "We don't see any of that anywhere in the Book of Acts, yet, John is with Peter throughout half of the Book of Acts, and yet where is Mary ever mentioned? Never."
In the plain meaning of the word "Never." in this sentence, he is stating that Mary is "Never" mentioned in the Book of Acts.
Yes:
"Hail to you forever, virgin Mother of God, our unceasing joy, for unto you do I again return. . .
As for the statement "full of grace" (Luke 1:28) that is found at least in the Douay-Rheims Bible, the official English translation from the Latin Vulgate of St.
You said: "At 7:50 you make a factual error in stating that Mary is not mentioned in the book of Acts: Acts 1:14 states that she joined with the Apostles in prayer."
Of course Mary is in chapter 1 with the 120, that is not what I was stating against in what I shared.
This too is a seriously erroneous statement."
NO WHERE in the first 300 years of the church fathers and leaders do we find any special teachings of Mary as an intercessor, any of the Marian dogmas, NOTHING!!!!

You kept doing this weird thing of hypotheticals of finding certain beliefs in certain books but that just doesn’t do anything because the Bible is meant to be read in its fullest, of course you won’t find certain beliefs in certain books
Finally off the top of my head, you describe Mikvah (Jewish baptism) when talking about your beliefs in baptism, but funny enough babies are dipped in the mikvah so it really helps the belief in infant Baptism. Overall your apologetics are weak and your constant “debunking” of catholic videos yet fail to even try and grasp Catholic concepts is obnoxious at best
@Sonicmax8728 maybe you should come on and discuss these with him?
I think you are saying a lot without actually saying anything of value. I think it may help to come on his open mic 😊
Biblical worship is sacrifice. Worship is not just praying and singing. What is sacrificed at the church services you attend?
