  • Flight review featuring a United 737-800 from Chicago, IL to Pensacola, FL. United operates to destinations around the globe from their hubs in the US. Some of these destinations were acquired through a merger with Continental Airlines. Other destinations, such as Pensacola, were a competitive market between the operators. With this route being almost three hours, what's it like onboard? What does United offer in its First Class cabin? What amenities are included? Is this a competitive product? Is US Domestic First Class worth it? Find out in this review.

What app are you using on your iPad at the 15 second mark? Is that ForeFlight? And how are you pulling in telemetry from the aircraft? Nice video!

@@patrickpayne3773 Yes, it’s ForeFlight. The device is cellular, as I use it when flying myself. However on these commercial flights, it can connect to the WiFi on the aircraft. Glad you enjoyed!

@@AVIT_8350 thanks for quick reply! I need to finish my PPL. Looking forward to my United first class 737-800 Pittsburgh to Denver flight. I kind of like the old school seats to the new ones. So much more comfy.

@@patrickpayne3773 Of course! Good luck with your flight training. It’s worth it in the end. United has begun retrofitting the 737s. So there’s a chance it may be equipped with the newer cabin. Enjoy your flight and safe travels.

@@candacepost2137 Unless it’s a complimentary upgrade or less than $300, definitely stay with economy. The airline has since become more consistent in their premium cabins. Offering a few more amenities on retrofitted aircraft.
