My KOReader can't find my Calibre like it worked in your video. What I did was I clicked on start wireless on Calibre (but the IP was shorter and different than on your screen); then after starting it I clicked connect on my KOReader (jailbroken), but it couldn't connect. What could have gone wrong?

@svartling Thank you. This time I used a fixed port, and it works 1 time out of 10. I press connect many times and it doesn't connect, until it connects. I don't know what could be causing this. I'll keep trying though. Edit: changing a firewall setting and setting the connection to manual fixed it for me.
Nice video! I use OPDS for connecting to Calibre. Then I don’t have to be at my computer, it’s all done on my ereader. I also use the Polish EPUB plugin.
Yeah I also use OPDS sometimes as I have shown in other videos but usually I sit at Calibre and managing my books and then it’s easy to just hit send on the books I want to transfer.

When I transfer books with cable, they are always saved in folders with the author name, I want to just have all my books listed without sub-folders. Also, I have made some highlights in the books already and I don't know if they will stay there if I move the books around to a different location. Could you help me figure it out?
I have a question regarding connecting to Calibre, I just got my Boox Palma in today. I have set up KoReader on my Palma, followed your steps, but when tapping connect on my Palma I am getting an error that it cannot connect ? Why is this? Also thanks for the great videos. Do you have a KoReader setup video specifically for the Palma ?
Instead of automatic ip address, set the exact ip instead. And turn off password for log in in Calibre. No I haven’t I specific video for that but a video for how to backup settings and import them. I have the exact same settings on all my devices. Maybe a few customizations made after on the Boox Palma

I’m wondering if it’s because of the calibre plugin I use to automatically convert epub to kepub for the kobo. You seem to have it setup correctly. I wonder if I remove the kepub conversion if things will start to work
KOReader can’t use kepub only epub. So try stop converting. If that doesn’t help you need to try another sync server. You find some on KOReader GitHub page. If not I can give you one later. It important that you have the same sync server and log in on all devices.
Hi, how did you managed to send book with swedish signs in filename? In my case during the process of sending from calibre to koreader all polish signs are lost. Thanks in advance
I was wonder how much of koreader's Calibre metadata search you use, because I find it to be quite finicky. When sending books wirelessly to koreader, the book's metadata will send, but if I delete a book on the koreader, the metadata will stay. Then if I download the same book again, what will happen is that I get a duplicate entry in the metadata search. And there's no way to fix that duplication.

Same to me but in Spanish with the ñ letter and the accents like á, it turns to n and just a.
Could it be that I have my language as Swedish in the kobo settings?

I haven’t used that much at all really. You can delete meta data manually using a file manager when connected to a computer but that is a hassle
i want the kobo to show the pages i downloaded using the count pages plugin, any idea how to do that?
