- David Tao is an award winning Taiwanese Singer/songwriter. He's got a great voice and has had a great career - and I'm very grateful to Patreon.com patron Ken for hipping me to this guy! As a result, I now know about Michael Ning, the bass player on this track and Fodera artist. Foderas are definitely my dream basses - that tone... One of these days! And Michael plays the crap out of his. His lines in this live show are very embellished and awesome compared to the album version of the tune, which is why Ken requested this one. Thanks for the nice message during the song! I hope you and your family are doing well. I’m not sure if I missed it in one of the other videos, but what type of music education do you have? Did you study music at a music college? You remind me of my old bass teacher who studied at Berkley. Keep up with the awesome videos!
JeffrySG thanks Jeffry! What a nice comment. We’re doing ok over here yep. Canada has taken decisive action ahead of a major outbreak and hopefully that keeps the impact pretty minimal here.
I went to Humber college here in Toronto. It has a great four year commercial music program. I was accepted to Berkeley too! But even back in the early 2000s it was too expensive for me.
