There's a special place in my heart for *Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2*
I LOVED that movie.. spending time with the characters... i got more from watching Drax and Mantis interact than i could ever get from all the laser shooting, planet exploding action sequences in this galaxy. Bold move to slow down and spend time with the characters , instead of doing a galactic fireworks battle for a couple hours.
Bill Archer for sure.... The quick shots of rocket and quill flying together, and yondu showing him how to shoot. Not to mention I bought both Awesome Mixes. Both of those films are gems and very much tell a consistent story from the first through the second... Can't wait for Vol. 3

Well we knew that Vision was getting that gem ripped out, and we knew that Bucky was of course going to be up to fight. So I really don’t know what they could have spoiled. I know just as much as I knew before having seen the trailer. Oh except that Vision can humanize his look but I don’t consider that a spoiler. It’s just awesome. 👍🏻

couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate the 200th Episode of Heroes than the Avengers: Infinity War Trailer dropping the day of and one day after the Crisis on Earth-X crossover.
Comic Book girl 19's dark phoenix documentary is awesome!
No they didn't reveal too much, I mean it was pretty fucking obvious Bucky was gonna be in it and that vision was gonna be attacked for the infinity stone in his head. The cgi looked pretty good for a movie that is 6 MONTHS from release. It's gotten fans and the general public hyped. It looks epic.

No they didn't. Thanos can't assemble the infinity gauntlet without finding all the gems. So it's obvious what has to happen.
They are critical of Logan but yet they talk about Wonder Woman like it was a perfect film. This over-praising of wonder woman is getting too much. Wonder Woman was an important film but simply adequate in quality.

I have PTSD. From childhood abuse. Jessica Jones and Punisher show the different sides. I was not in war, but experience some of the same symptoms as vets do. Be aware that it is from trama not just war trama. I'm 33. I have been dealing with PTSD since I was 5. It was incredibly hard to watch JJ and Punisher. But very Acurate.
Isn't most PTSD actually from childhood trauma? I think i heard that somewhere.
I wrote a research paper on PTSD in college. I went into it thinking that it was exclusive to veterans, very wrong misconception . The VAST majority are female victims of sexual assault, mainly rape and child molestation.

I don't get why people give a F*@& that she's wearing sunglasses or has green hair. Individuality is good! It just shows a fun sensibility, some humor with her self image. Maybe people are jealous or threatened by her courage to be herself? And snobby? I see nothing snobby in her being herself. She's just confident enough to be and say what she feels, whether people disagree or not. And if she disagrees with you, so what? That doesn't diminish you, nor does it need to bring you down. If that's all it takes to ruffle someone's feathers, and make them hate, then that's sad!

I'm not hating or trolling, but I don't think she's a helpful panelist. If you've been invited to a talk show and one of the topics on the docket is the Infinity War trailer, you're kind of a bad panelist for just not watching it. They know what's gonna be discussed before they get there. Also, she contradicts herself. You can't say Logan isn't fun enough, but then dog on crossovers... which are completely about having fun.
Soooo because she didn't watch a trailer is the reason why people are up. What's wrong with not wanting to ruin the movie. How many times can you look back on and say to yourself. I wish they didn't show that part in the trailer. How many times in a movie that a scene would of been way more impactful if it weren't in a trailer. I don't know about you. But I hate it. Which is why I don't watch them. And being on a show that talks about these things so she HAS to watch them is stupid. She's the voice of people who don't watch trailers. They are out there.
I am so happy Robert brought up Logan! I was so surprised to not hear it on Jon's list. Everyone is so far up the alright WW movie I was getting so mad that Logan was being forgotten over WW since I feel like Logan had so much more heart, emotions and better story/message
Logan is on the top 10 best films of this year by the national board of reviews, none other comicbook film was on that list
Completely agree Wonder Woman was trash and overpraised for no reason aside from the fact that it’s the first female lead superhero film.

I agree. Logan was the best comic book MOVIE. It is my favorite movie of the year. I would give Thor: Ragnarok the title for best time at the movies. I wanted to go right back into the theater to see that again. WW was great for 2/3 of the movie. The end was very X-Men: Apocalypse to me. Here's some 'splosions, a big baddie, and then our Gal pulls through in the end and Captain Kirk dies. If Evans decides not to be Cap anymore, the other blonde Chris would be a great replacement Cap.

I am so sad no one is mentioning Gifted. So far I've really enjoyed the series, for a series that isn't about the X-men, I think it is the best portraying of the X-men we've had for screen.

Graograman Hawk No one really mentions The Gifted. It's good not great but excitingly watchable.
A little sad. It may not be a great series, like The Punisher and some of the other Marvel properties, but... They are putting up Super Girl and Legends of Tomorrow as some of the best... Nothing against those two series, they are perfectly watchable, but... At least for me, comparing them to The Gifted, the story of Gifted is far more intriguing and explores far better the complexity of having powers, the consequences for the family, society, etc. I watch all three series, but Legends becomes more silly with ever passing season, there is no weight to anything the characters do and Super Girl, I mean, every season her main conflict is always about boyfriend issues, she is like a teenager... But she isn't a teenager.
I think it’s getting better and has tons of potential. Started out good and hasn’t improved every week(ep 8 was awesome). I think it could be like Agents if shield and hit it’s stride in season 2.
I'm loving The Gifted.
8:25 Great job Rocca. I loved Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. I admit the first half was tough but the second half of the movie more than made up for it. I know Logan was a better movie and Ragnarok was a lot funnier. But Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was the greatest superhero movie of 2017. LOVED IT.
Ego is the most interesting Villian in the MCU. The movie was so emotional. "Maybe he was your father, but he wasn't your DADDY". LOVED IT.

Who cares if she doesn't like the Avengers. Not for everyone. If you're a comic book reader then the big crossover events got done so much that it got a bit stale and old very quick...I think that's where she's coming from.

This episode was great guys. Loved it. Had some great laughs haha. Schnepp's tangent on having to wait for issues was hilarious. Also Rocha's "Thanos punches Tony to death" that came up like three times was great haha.

What a great episode! Love this show so much. So much real talk. It's not positive or negative, It's real. I respect the three main hosts John, Robert, and Amy a lot. The guests were great today. I am fans of them all. Always nice seeing Comic Book Girl 19 on this channel. Schnepp, I want to thank you because you reignited my love for comics two years ago after a decade and a half off. It's been so nice to read them again.

When she said Professor X was "just a problem". Why was he a problem?? Because he's old and he's disabled... well as an old guy who's survived 2 heart attacks and is disabled that struck a nerve, maybe it shouldn't have but it did.
Ben1159a what she means in regards to Professor X is that as he started to lose his faculties he had lost control of his telepathic powers and subsequently was a liability, if not just incredibly dangerous. It's insinuated in the film that there was a tragedy in Westchester County, New York (this is the location to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters) and that Xavier was the cause.
199 Episodes ago I remember John being all nervous and stuff... now he owns it and is the main reason I keep watching the show (Not to mention the great team you do with Amy and Burnett)
