I would love to see a lesson on how You play this so I can see the chords You use . Last I knew , You were healing up from a surgery so no rush on a lesson . I love how You play this . I used to have a poster of Linda Ronstadt on the inside of my barracks door back in 1978 when I was still in the U.S. Air Force . Also had a picture of Nancy Wilson with a red Strat :-)
This is harder than I thought. Is it standard tuning? When you do that little rundown thing it looks like your fingers hitting the G note on the low e string but it s not right. This is going to take some time. I will get it.
I'm sure I'll get this a little wrong but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the full fledged Eagles band but rather what became the Eagles. I believe Glenn Frey and Don Henley were involved as they were struggling musicians then and used that opportunity to branch out on their own. There's a great Eagles documentary on Netflix and I remembered they covered that period but I forget the details.
You're right. Just looked at her "Midnight Special" performance of this and it's definitely Andrew Gold on one guitar, maybe Kenny Edwards on the other.
beauty. Nothing more 70's than a harmony guitar solo.
This is a favorite of mine ... a Linda rocker backed with great guitar parts ... thank you JJ.
Thanks JJ. Your stuff is spot on and a big help!
This is excellent . Thanks for not just doing the solo :)
Thank you, loved to see this. Once I recognized this was in Emaj, the scale patterns made it easier to understand. Definitely nice to see it though
Nice...thank you very much....
Loved it. Brilliant
Perfect thanks for the easy learn
Good job!! Thanks!
Man you killed this! 🤘
Great job!

Sorry, I’m retired.
@@jamesjames9275 OK . Hope retirement goes well
woo hooooo!!!
I used to like that album cover where Linda is on roller skates, what was it Livin in the USA?
I think so. So sad what's happened to her the last few years with Parkinson's disease.
Ever tried to play both parts of the solo at the same time?

very nice
and may I ask
what are the amp settings ,the pedals .the effects
thank you
Just some gain in the amp, a little reverb.
What do you call that chord at :43? Interesting.......it works!
I don't know what it's called, but it's A and G at 4 and D at 3. B and E are open.
You mean D at 2....Great breakdown of this....You possess a great ear and that's what gives you the ease of hearing what others don't in these songs.
It's an inversion of C#m.
Channeling your inner Waddy Wachtel?
Always.
Do you have this solo tab available?
Hey James, weren't the Eagles Linda's backing band in the early 70's?? How long were they with her? Thanks James

Just part of 1971.
The LP sounds perfect for this song. Oh, wait. LOL
What's that E variant at 0:18? Open E, A and D at 2, G at 4, open B and e?
Yes, E5.
Don or Phil on Guitar?
This is easy as mud
If you want to master an instrument without having to put in any time or effort, buy a tambourine. You’ll be proficient in 20 minutes. Best of luck.
Waddy, right?
Actually, I don’t think he started with Linda until after this. I’m guessing Andrew Gold is on one of the guitars on this one.

Yes....It was Andrew Gold....
Andrew was one heck of a player.
