Yes guys this was a grim one, terrible access to the drain and a real stubborn blockage. We built a simple bund or as little T called it a dam. Good job we did as there was some seious sewage spilling out which we managed to retain and return to the gully ( yes a shared system)
Took a while , changed from a worm to a penetrator then back to a worm nossle to achieve the unblock.

Yorkshire tea is the best. I recommend Yorkshire Gold. A good alternative is Co-op breakfast tea, a close second! (I used to work where it was made!😂)

Today, on Tea Drinking with Tony, in a lovely but very rainy Birkenhead, Tony will be working very hard for his fee, slopping round in the pouring rain in inches of slurry and squeegeeing gallons of raw sewage. At 24:41I did notice part of the gully grid fall down the gully, but I think it did get pulled out at the end so all's well that ends well, and the tea got the 9/10 rating too, so not a Yorkshire Tea day today. Maybe next time.

Why didnt you use your PICOTE with chains on down the SVP downstream towards the blockage so as to prevent all of Sewage backing up out of the Gully Pot drain and Flooding everywhere ???

Hi couple of reasons, blind pipe being the main one. Imagine putting in that equipment and it got stuck in a broken or collapsed drain. I only put Picote in to a known situation. But I do see your point.

Hours by the time I refilled tank. So bargain for customer on fixed price unblock. Hole was sealed as access point for future issues
