I remember a episode where a guy was falsy accused of sexuality assaulting a kid and Steve validated the accusations suggesting he looks weird and a lot of people would agree that based on his looks, he could be a pedophile. Didn't even apologize or give him much of any validation after he passed. Steve has chewed out and labeled so many guest as lazy and mentally incompetent all because they admitted to smoking weed but is very empathetic towards anyone with a drinking problem. He's threatening to hurt male guest who had physically hurt their partner but with women, he often will act supportive and understanding while suggesting they seek help. He's a full blown hypocrite and extremely bias. I highly doubt he was fair to every individual as a cop. Most likely reenforced those bias perception onto people regardless if they deserved it or not. He literally has a history with drinking and driving. I highly doubt he would be calm and rational if anyone tried throwing that in his face or suggest he could have killed someone while driving intoxicated. He's very old and I don't have expectations for that to ever change but people can still point it out. It's wrong and it's not something that should just be ignored. I HATE when people gauge what a baby is or isn’t supposed to be able to do by what age by what their own children were able to do at certain ages. A baby crawling at three weeks old sounds a little nuts, but not impossible. I was turning myself over in my bassinet at the hospital days after I was born. The head nurse over the infants was screaming at the other nurses because she thought they were putting me on my stomach putting me at risk of suffocation but she caught me turning myself over one day. I’m not bragging because that’s not a skill, or anything. I’m just saying that not every child develops at the same speed. Just because Steve’s kids developed at the rate kids normally do doesn’t make them the gold standard for when a baby is supposed to be able to crawl or speak or do somersaults, for fuck’s sake. She got railroaded in to a plea, with a suggestion that she would get out sooner to be with her daughter. Likely never telling her that it would come with a protection order and termination of rights, until it was too late. Seeing my kiddo like that, even now 6 years later, it's still hard. Like seriously hard, and I don't think there's any therapy or whatever out there that'd make it easier. People are usually satisfied if someone is incarcerated not if they are guilty or not. Courts have found police departments to be guilty of coercion in regards to getting a “confession”. It happens people. My daughter never crawled. At 9 months she was potty trained and just got on the floor and started walking. I know a 2 month old who is sitting up and holding his own bottle.

And it also sounded like Steve for a moment was about to go into this whole "well, if I was forced to plead guilty to something I didn't do, that's not what I would do" kind of tirade; before the mother(thankfully) interrupted him and stopped him from doing so! Because frankly, Steve needs to keep "how he would've done things(at least in cases like this)" to himself! Because gimmicks like that don't help or solve anything! In cases like that, it only creates more anxiety, more anger, more contempt, and more frustration; because they aren't being heard completely!
If Steve were to do something like that, it ought to be saved for more........"special" cases(which is rarely a thing these days).
