    Beautiful performance Edward. Played at right speed. I find many organists tend to play it a bit too fast. You have captured Stanford intent, played with grace and sincerity. Greetings Canada. Keep up the wonderful playing!

      @@EdwardTaylorOrganist Thanks for replay. I'm sorry to say not to many young organist coming up tend to play English composers music. They love playing that 20th century French music like Langlais, Demessieux, and Messien. Greetings.

      @paulbrennan5646 I agree with your observation about the tempo. I don't think this music suits being too hurried - yes it should have purposeful pace so that direction isn't lost, but the details need to be heard and too fast means a loss in that direction.

    I’ve never been to Carlisle, but if I do I will make a point of visiting the Cathedral to maybe hear this wonderful instrument live. Thanks for this great performance.
