This video is great bro. Super interesting and the track turned out great. Im pretty knowledgeable about the intricacies of the audio affect chain and beefing sounds up and seems like you did the right stuff. Saturation and then compression are the bomb for beefinng sounds up. i use OTT as a drop in replacement for any type of compression personally, with the attack / time knob turned to the latest (to preserve transients if there are any, on the sound you're compressing). and if there are any tail end artifacts left over from said release you can cut them out by bouncing to audio and removing. OTT is powerful as a finishing touch on individual track level because it inherently leaves the mid frequencies at a lower gain than the other two bands to account for inherent perceived loudnessof the human ear. Then you can adjust the total gain with the makeup knob or a generic volume utility in FL (i use ableton). Peace and love from san diego bud.
