So a race called the scholars merged with the darkness and created a being called the witness ?
Don't know if the race is called Scholars or not. But that's the gist of it!
We've sort of taken to calling them the Precursors.
So to summarise:
The Traveller’s an inconsiderate A-hole.
The Veil is basically the Dark Traveller.
The Witness is actually billions of people sharing the same body.
The final shape is not only about immortality or outlasting everything else, but also controlling the universe itself.

I don't think that's too accurate... But it holds some truths.
Why would you need more then the gifts the traveler gives you? Being immortal and live happy peaceful lives is more then enough. Only evil looks and needs more then that. So no I wouldn’t say the traveler is the A hole in this situation.
I still am confused as to why the traveler was buried. Perhaps this was the first time it actually tried to act.
If they make us go to garden of salvation again. Im gonna uninstall Destiny
I think we are going inside the traveler in Final Shape 🤔
And inside the traveler, there is a portal that leads into the garden of salvation.
Garden isn't a bad raid.
I hope we go to the galaxy pools for the final showdown against the witness but bungie don’t do that because they don’t care for the game except being greedy and neglecting it for their new games
They are more invested in Marathon right now

Final shape is basically the logical conclusion of philosophy behind stasis element. The state of existence when one not only cannot be ended but rather control existence entirely, into unchanging world of pure stillness and silence. In conclusion a world that can’t end because it can’t change, develop and grow. Well that doesn’t sound good. I think they forgot to ask themselves what they would do afterwards?
@@DestinedDeath703I don't think they thought that far, and the witness is at this point incapable of self-reflection...it only exists to bring about the final shape.
So you'd commit omnicide on the universe just because it doesn't align with your ideals?
You'd force your ideal image if order onto everyone else?
