Very nice! Getting ready to build my bank. Also, just in case you didn’t know. These cells aren’t at full capacity until 16.2 volts so you have a ways to go before you’re even seeing the max performance. Thanks for the video man.

Nothing better than stable voltage. Less chance of blowing your system.

I’ll eventually add a little more. Maybe like 15-30ah

@@808patanderson I have a cosmos 13k currently on 2 sundown sddn 15s. Looking to switch up to 2 salt 6ks or audio dynamics 8ks gain matched at half with a dd zvl. I have 2 jy hp 40s currently and a mechman 400 amp alt. Sky high 2/0 ofc wire. Jp 23.4 on mids which will change over to tweeters and will add a jp 45.4 or dd 4.200 on mids depending on wiring options since the dd 4.200 is 1 ohm stable. Previously had 2 dd 9500 15s fully loaded wired to half on a dd m5a, then the ruthless 8500, and cosmos 13k after the ruthless.
Lowest I drop to right now is 13v at idle but I wanna charge at 15.3 next and upgrade my bank. Been looking at that 43.5 ah bank but been curious on how the reserve was on it.

They hold pretty decent. They charge super fast so this helps them from dropping too far as long as you have solid alternator power.

@808patanderson how long do you let the vehicle sit, I'm curious if the bank dies over time from sitting

Same chemistry just a different cell. Both lto but these have a higher c rating

Thank you for this video i want scib i just dont know how they will perform. I think i need at least the 87ah. Im planning on clamping 32,000watts to the subs so ill need probably 50,000w available to pull from the bank so i would think a minimum of the 87ah scib bank. I honestly wish i could get the 174ah bank

Yeah they are pricy but can build it for cheaper. I built mine for 900

Is there an advantage in using the 2.9ah cells over the 10ah? I’m limited on space and would save a little going with less 10ah cells.

I don’t know everything but I’ve heard the smaller the ah usually the higher charge and discharge rates. This battery isn’t very large and they have smaller configurations available

Check discharge rate. There’s a scale that’s used to tell you. Diy lithium guy made a video where he makes a 24volt into a 12volt and that battery had a discharge of 15kw and would discharge in something like 4 minutes. It’s $340 I looked into it but had already bought an lto 6.0 from d4s.
