    Thanks for your video, I love this plants but I cannot agree on min 5:34
    Indeed this plants LOVE SUN. I am from Mexico, and they are quite common there, specially in semi-desert areas where a human could not stand more than 20 min under the sun, and these plants love the sun. The sunnier, the faster they will grow.

      Thank you for your comment and sharing your experience with these plants in Mexico! It's fascinating to hear how well they thrive in sunny, semi-desert areas. In my experience, I've found that Ponytail Palms (Nolina) can be sensitive to full sun exposure, especially in certain climates.
      Thank you again for your note. 🙏🤍🍃

      Hi there! It sounds like your Ponytail Palm might be experiencing some stress due to the heat. Even though you're worried about overwatering, the high temperatures and outdoor environment might be causing it to dry out faster. Try checking the soil more frequently, and consider watering it every 1-2 weeks instead of every 3 weeks, especially in such hot weather. Make sure the soil is dry before watering again to avoid overwatering.

    Hi, can the ponytail plant be watered from the bottom? Putting water in the tray instead.

    • @PlantHouseGarden
      @PlantHouseGarden  Рік тому +1

      Yes, you can water it from the bottom, but give it a shower once in 1-2 months. Thanks for watching 🙏🍃🤍

    My cat does the same thing! I don’t think I’m watering enough when I do water.

    Hi everyone, I had to cut back around 60% of the lenght of the leaves of my ponytail, will cause damage to the plants health?

    • @PlantHouseGarden
      @PlantHouseGarden  Рік тому

      No, it won’t hurt the plant, it should start producing new leaves, just give it a time and proper care. 🤗🍃

    Dangerous for you cats. The leaf edges cut their mouths and esophagus. The plant was given to me because of this. Inspect plants regularly to check for pests and correct problems. Last, decide to spray with Neem.

      Not true at all..my cats love these..so I got all 3 of my cats each their own little Ponytail Palm! It makes them so happy..they're happier with Ponytail Palms way more than the are with cat nip grass.

    I mist mine every few days. This keeps the leaf tips from browning. When I bought mine from Lowe's, the soil was mainly coconut husks. When I repotted it, I added a citrus/palm soil mix. 🪴

      @PlantHouseGarden  11 місяців тому

      Great, misting helps a lot, and the soil is crucial, thanks for sharing your experience 🙏🤍🍃
