I'm so proud of Hook here. He not only tries to make up for what he's done to Belle, but also for everything he's ever done. And he doesn't really accept the fact that many others have forgiven him, until he learns to forgive himself. I love that. It shows just how remorseful he is and how hard he's working to make up for his past mistakes. I love the friendship between Hook and Belle, although to be clear, I only see them as friends. I don't see how some can think Belle is into Hook or vise versa. It's very clear that Emma is the only one for Hook, and it's very clear that Belle only sees him as a friend. But anyways, I love the friendship between Hook and Belle it's very cute.
It's genuinely surreal to see someone who's made multiple attempts on Belle's life treat her with more dignity and respect than her *husband* does. The fact that she & Rumple ended up together continues to make my skin crawl...
I like that this shows Belle doesn't just have a blind spot for Rumple- she genuinely believes people can change, forgiving the likes of Hook and Regina. It's just that Rumple ping pongs back and forth between good and bad far too often for his 'change' to be considered genuine.
The friendship between Belle is actually quite sweet, but in my mind it's also a little awkward, lol... I mean, Rumple's former wife abandoned him for Hook, and now Belle's hiding out on the guy's ship. That's gotta stir Rumple's pot quite a bit O.o
1:20 - that irish accent slips through when he says “proud of” & it’s just swoon-worthy & belle’s got the prettiest, most stunning eyes i swear. they’re like glass. striking against her fair skin & that long, dark hair.
I am glad that Hook was very kind to have Belle be in the Jolly Roger while pregnant 🤰 and 🤱 dealing with hearing her 😴 but it is worth it in the end thank you Hook we love you
Wow, yet another retcon! If I had a euro for every time they did this, I could make my own show from scratch. 1. Regina did not cast a spell to keep people from leaving the town originally, it was a part of the curse. The same was the case with the other curses, up to the 4 th season. Even the curse Hook cast had the effect on naturally sealing the town's borderline. It's the whole point of isolating people inside a curse. 2. Regina could not have cast a spell at that point, because, like the show stated, the Storybrook prior to the season 2 was void of magick. Arguably already enchanted objects that came with them fairy tale people, could have been used, but spells couldn't be cast, prior to the season 2, when the curse was broken. I think the writers hired a team of wanna-be writers who are doing the screenwriting at this point. That would account for the astounding inconsistencies and retcons. Either that or both of the writers are suffering from Alzheimer's .

I like these two better than who theyre with now. I think Hook is the perfect balance of dark/mysterious for belle but yet hes still good and isnt power hungry to drive her crazy. They balance each other out. Rumple needs to work on himself tbh before he can start fully caring for another person because hes proven he chooses magic over love. Emma is pretty independent but she needs someone with magic so they can come together and more easily prevent her future (which i think is fake since the girl was probably jafar) and overall just mesh better since I dont think Hook is the type to like having a girl save him. These are just my thoughts. You are 100% allowed to disagree.

We know that he was sharing the Jolly Roger with Belle but made it pretty clear they were "roomies" you could say (basically saying he's not trying to get together with her) However now that Emma asked to share the house with her and he accepted, I am guessing Belle will have the ship to herself until she goes back to Rumple (which I think pretty much everyone who's watched the show for any length of time knows she'll go running back to him eventually)
