This modern design looks amazing! I love the stain color and the legs. The only thing I would do differently is plug the holes where the bolts are
well im astounded thats absolutely brilliant good design im going to make a corner unit model...........................10 out of 10 mate
I just wanted to say thank you for such inspiration. I DIY mine for my living room and the shape looks so modern and beautiful. Thanks again for this video
Really enjoyed this build , looks amazing
Nice shape and design
A great build love the design.❤❤❤
I loved the job my friend , if I did maybe I would hide the screws closing the holes.
I love it I would only go with a darker stain but that’s my taste
This tv stand looks great. Love it
It does!
I'm all the way in Jamaica and I love your work bro. Inspiring me to do this type of thing
Awesome work
It was simple and nice
Que espetáculo!!!lindo demais parabéns
Very nice. Thanks.
Its definitely different and that's what I like most about it.
Thank you for the inspiration!!!
I might try something similar to your design????......not sure just what as of yet.
Thats awesome!!
Please share once you are done with it.
Thanks for the support
Thanks for sharing this project - I enjoyed looking at it and will be inspired for my own project. Very good end result.
My opinion about this is purely subjective to my taste. I would prefer less rustic, like wholes in top I would cover. Color I would make more light, and the tops a bit thinner.
Thanks
Fabtastic design style and good actually some details of the steps. Currently looking for ideas on doing my mine as total beginner to more refined things (a basic workshop racking or shed tyoe things ok-ish... solid but not pretty) and with rather limited tools & skill so no fancy joints. Im not to keen on the large open bolt holes so what options would be good to look at? Thanks
That looks great! This is my first video of yours I've watched. First off, I love the work shop. A storage container! That's awesome!
The entertainment stand looks great. I may have to make something similar. Great work!
Beautiful work,,, please what type of Saw is that? Thank you.
Nice job Greg
Love your design dude! I made mine with pine tree :) it's feels so nice!
Looks great!
Ficou lindo
Looks great. What kind of weight could this realistically hold. I'm trying to build something that could hold a 65" tv which is around 30kg.
Are those as sturdy in the front edges where there is no support?
What dimensions does it have?
Can you please add the measurements?!!!
lmao fr not a single measurement in this video
Great project! Tell me, what was the finish you used here?
Thanks, think we used plascon mixed in a bit of teak.
Sweet logo
Nice work. I’m a carpenter myself and have been considering making custom furniture on the side for some extra cash. Curious how much you charge for a piece like this? And maybe any other suggestions or advice. Thanks!
Hi thanks for the support.
Super difficult to talk pricing because material pricing is different all over the world and currencies are different.
I'd say twice the cost of material + shipping is fair. depending on how long you took
Super cool design! I plan on building one myself. I have some butcher block that came out of a kitchen remodel. I'm curious about dimensions what's the overall length and height? Thanks!
Hi Greg you know your video make me wish to invest my time in woodwork do you have any small project one can try?
Thank you for the support.
Currently busy with a website where we will be having drawings available to download
pragtig en kragtig Greg
Are you fastening the bolts into nuts that are hidden, or do you just go straight into the wood?
Straight into the wood
Obviously make sure to drill pilot holes
@@diywithgreg thanks! Great work!
They are lag bolts probably!
Again just my guess!
Called coach bolts
Great video! I would like to build this! Do you think it would be okay to drill two holes through the back pieces for cables to go through? Or will it not be as strong? Thanks!
I think it should be okay 👌
@@diywithgreg how thick are the wood pieces you used?
Hi what is the measurement
What are the dimensions? Your hand covered the bottom number.
I am a tech guy but i have a strong feeling I can do this.can u please help me know the tools i will need for this kind of work
Hey bru! Fokken nice tv stand! Hoeveel kos dit om so iets te bou? Ek wil ook 'n garage hout werk shop in ons garage begin maar het 0 experience, so is nuuskierig hoeveel goed kos van 'n fellow afrikaner. Mooi werk, hou so aan!
How well does it support weight towards the front of the stand
Very well, the is is thick and properly fasten
I want you to help me build my own tv unit stand
Is it strong enough to put tv on it?
Yes its super strong
Hi Greg, nice build. My biggest frustration with tv units is that cable management is never taken into consideration, so I would add a multi-plug to the rear, and leave space so cables can be hidden. Where did you source the rubber wood? Is it a hard wood? Did you laminate it yourself or was it purchased like that? Keep up the good work!
Just make a hole
What are the dimensions? Length and height? I wanna make this but don’t want it to look like a square
Do you ever make TV units using just dove joints and other non screw based joinery??
Yes, but this was a quick and rustic project..
Mooi man!!!
What were the dimensions on the boards in US Standard measurements?
Is rubber wood better than MDF wood?
Its two different wood species, rubber wood is better then pine in my opinion, MDF is used for a different application.
@@diywithgreg thanks for the response dear friend
Hey .. how can I purchase something similar?
Greg I would love to know the measurements of this stand, do you mind sharing?
Busy with our website where i will be having all this details and plans to download
What were the bolts you use? What size?
Bolts are used to hold the wood together and to give a rustic industrial look to the stand
Hi. Hoeveel sal jy my vra om iets soortgelyk te bou? Groete
Hi, die unit het verkoop vir 7850.
Dimensions??
How thick was the wood that you used for this project?
That's what I'm wondering
Just looking and guessing it looks 6 or 7 quarters!
I'm just guessing by looking when he is vanishing and hand is near the end.
Like I said I'm guessing!
I know the client wanted it as rustic as possible, but the finish was so much nicer before you treated the wood.
Do you have pdf file with all the measurement.
Hi, we are busy working on our website where we will be selling the plans at cost.
Greg do you take orders? I love that stand, and roughly how much would you sell it for?
It depends where you from in the world

HEY, great simple work so elegant....... kindly build G-PROFILE floating media console more sleek style.. i'll be greatful (*) Hav a gud dy....
That would be a great idea! Thanks
Greg most of us don't have a workshop and fancy tools.
Just a saw, hammer and nails.
Its all understandable, i started woodworking about 12 years ago with no tools, I used my dads tools, build up my tool collection over the years and believe it or not I also need more tools. 😇
That's all you need to make a tv table. See " 1 plywood no powertools " video on UA-cam. Though use screws along with the nails.
All that work and didn't even condition the wood before staining it lol
As a total beginner who knows next to nothing and at stage of looking for ideas.... what's conditioning the wood mean?
@@subhumanrogueminiaturesfor2538 Some types of wood, the soft and porous types, have a different wood density which causes the wood to absorb stain inconsistently. Some areas may absorb a lot of stain while others absorb very little. Because of this, the finished stained board may appear blotchy, not giving you a smooth, even finish.
A wood conditioner helps even out the application of the stain by filling in the pores of the wood to help prevent the stain from absorbing in some areas.
Rustic look
Greg this isn't simple, most of us don't have a workshop and fancy tools.
Just a saw, hammer and nails.
Nice vid. Needs some music and more narration though 👍
It kicks in a bit later 👍
