in my opinion they are new car models and they are disassembled and damaged with the fact that some parts are put aside and then put back to sleep, the paint dries and the model is sprayed with something to look rusty, then it is restored, every damaged car looks the same, I don't believe the model cars can be so damaged, it's done on purpose, every video is basically the same👍👍👍
True, anyone who has made modeling will notice it immediately. Let's say the series is interesting, and it's nice to see him at work. If I were him, however, I would have invested some money in an airbrush, instead of using the cans, he would get a better result, there are many cheap ones but they give a really good result in the painting. :)
@@michel7339 Nah, he buy them on internet, Maisto ( and the other producers of these model too) have a lot of parts you can buy to change with the broken ones in your models. :)
@@walterneese8419 Thats true, the only things I would suggest is to make the rust parts more believable ( they are not really rusted per se), just not scratch them and put some dirt on, it's clear they are not abandoned, but ruined by himself. Nothing against it, and he have some skills so the show it's enjoyable, but in the long run it's repetitive, because the damage are pretty much the same, a little bit of difference would make the show more fun. :)
XJ220, one of my favourites from the 90s era supercars! ☺️ This car always makes me laugh lately as it reminds me of the radio falling off and hitting Jeremy Clarkson in the plums 😅😂 Nice work sir, like always. Well done 👍
Jaguar XJ220 is one of my most famous cars. It’s a shame that many people didn’t like this car when it came out. They should have known the quirks and features
A trip for when spraying... Never start or stop the spray while the nozzle is pointed at the work. Point off to the side, start the spray, pass over the work until the nozzle and thus the spray is pointing off to the other side of the work and then stop the spray. If another pass is needed, restart the spray while its pointed off to the side and again pass over the work and again only stop the spray when you've made the full pass and the spray it no longer pointed at the work. Between that and ensuring a constant spray speed (hard due to the nature of spray cans, I'd suggest investing in a gun) then you should avoid the lumpy texture. :)
This is a rare car now...super rare and the models are too. I have one in my kitchen...this scale...British Racing Green...perfect condition except one windsheild wiper snapped...i got it in 1992...Stored away in a cupboard for years...i got it back out two years ago and took the dust off...it looks really nice. I forgot how good that model looked...im glad i saw this vid now...
Mad9977-RC and HOBBY that how the real car is. They had to put the passenger mirror on the front fender because you wouldn’t be able to see it through the a pillar. Doug demuro did a video on the real thing that’s worth watching.
I really enjoy these videos, and I don’t care if you did the “damage” yourself - its always nice to see someone treat modelcars with respect. I am 30 now and when I buy a modelcar, I always leave it in the box. Most of the time they never get out, only for photos. But I was a stupid kid when I was younger, because I used to smash my modelcars in various ways. I can’t tell you how much I fucking regret that every time I think of it, and I think I even had one of these and did it... Its so cringy when I think about it. My dad even told me once, many years ago: “You’re not worth buying modelcars”. He was right. It even says on the box most of the time, that they aren’t suitable for being toys for kids. Luckily, the ones I smashed are still being made today, or atleast are in old stock in large numbers. So I have decided to buy them as I come across them, shouldn’t be that expensive. Sorry for the long read, but I just had to get it out. If you have children, please don’t give them these - there are loads of cheapers alternatives, almost made for rough play I would say.
Great work as ever. I loved the XJ220, it was a pity that they didn’t keep to the original specifications such as a V12 and 4wd, instead it was a V6 which is ridiculous for a supercar and 2wd.
El jaguar es un coche muy bueno y muy bonito, aunque a veces están los coches demasiado sucios y estropeados. Da la sensación de que los habandonan y los destrozan adrede.

Eh I guess it makes the video more interesting to watch. If it was a simple repaint video I doubt it’d garner as many views.

That is a beautiful it doesn't look like a toy car. Wish I could afford a real Jaguar car. Good job on the restoration.

I can’t look at one of these without thinking of Doug Demuro, he was right about it being a special and weird super car
When I see one I think about Need For Speed II intro.
I have this Jaguar XJ220 Model in 1:18th scale. What an awesome restoration !!!!!!!!!!!! Two thumbs way up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aayan goverski u said ur most famous one but people dont like it so then its not famous isnt it
Then I'm going to get it out on the road and drive it.
And then...I'm going to give it a Doug Score
first of all you didn't make that car
and if people don't like it then its not your most famous car

these cars are not abandoned, they are intentionally scrapped to generate content. There are other channels that make real recoveries.
Ulisses Vinícios yes, but at least we still get good content, that is what matters
@@Lui_diff I agree
Of course there intentionally sctapoed but you get to see the guys skills all the same 😁
