Yea the OTS Cobb is ok if you’re coming from stock but anything beyond that lol it’s childs play 😂 and I’ve been around edge water a few times for work but never with my Dub, soon enough we will bump heads on the beltway lol

What I can’t stand about VW aftermarket companies: All their “Stage 2, 2+, 2.73, 3.4, etc.” blah blah blah makes no sense because every company calls their stages differently. I’ve been in the MK7 GTI game for almost 5 years, and this is literally the first time I’ve heard an upgraded intercooler with a Stage 2 tune is considered a Stage 2+. Stage 2+ used to be an IS38 upgraded GTI. This company’s lingo doesn’t mean that lol. So stupid. This is why when someone asks me what stage I am, I just say I have no idea lol, but then I just tell them what mods my car has.

I’ve got an Audi a3 stage 2 1.8tfsi pretty nippy no pops tho as it’s a 2014 they didn’t come with over run as standard and I didn’t ask for pops and bangs when it got mapped

just get a valved exhaust and resonate your cat/catless dp. IMHO way to raspy. doesn’t sound good. 4cycl sound horrible straight pipped. except for boxer engines. Plus valved you’ll have no issues passing inspection
@@oWiinKMK7 and you still got a repair request for that. it’s more like sport exhaust. took me 2 stations before they would inspect mine i didn’t mean your car is raspy in my original comment. more meant folks with cat/no cat dp’s and straight cat back sounds like garbage (subjective). yours sounds good. same setup i pretty much have (cat/dp w/high flow res).

My car (ecu and dsg tuned w/eqt stage 2) doesn't pop and bang when I let off the throttle anymore. It only pop and bang when I feather the gas pedal. I'm trying to get the pops back when i decel...
When you try to pop are you just starting the car up? I notice when I first try to start the car and have it run for a bit it won’t pop but after some driving time it will then start the popping. Mines pops both when I feather and decel sometimes
@@oWiinKMK7 no, I usually drive around for a bit and wait until the needle in the oil temp gauge to hit 200. I check for any damages on the hose but it seems all good. However I do have a CEL for the SAI (its stuck open), not sure if this would affect the tune.

Almost all instances of Stage 2 Ive heard of are some combination of intake+ic+down pipe while stage 3 is for turbo swaps

In have an ARM Catted Downpipe, I didn’t get the cel because I have the Stage 2 Tune. That eliminates the cel showing on the dash

If your boost hose is damaged will that effect your pops ?
You have the dsg? If so for the crackles do you have it in sport or drive
yessir, I have a DSG and when I use the pops & bangs I usually have it in Sport (Manual) it works the best for me
