I'm glad I don't have to work in the cold like you guys do.In my younger days I worked for a small town plowing crew. It's no fun replacing the feed chain on a sander outside during a snow storm.I have a lot of respect for those who work in those conditions!

I especially hated the tailgate sanders. The old dump trucks had no down pressure in the hydraulics. If you tipped the dump body too far,it wouldn't drop on it's own. That was always fun to fix!

@@davidhaley7053 Been several years ago (mid 80,s)and I was a truck driver. They were 518 machines and we ran a chipping/logging operation. If I remember they were standard sizes I guess and the duals were the same size. Mostly remember hauling them on the low boys and how they would really go when it was wet. Kept the paychecks coming when others sat in the shop due to bad weather.

Hopefully it stays cold up by you guys!! It's going to be in the 40's down here this weekend. We will probably lose all of our snow and what little frost we have. There is only a couple of inches of both here.
Hopefully you get to feeling better soon!! I fought that stupid cold for almost a month before it was completely gone.

I can't handle a soggy swamp. Can't handle a swampy swamp either BUT take a wild guess how much rain we had last year (18 I think it was). The airport had 100 inches and broke their record, we had 150+. Going green here is molding away. And I saw a person at Wally World a while back that looked a lot like that skidder with a chain-drive wallet. Get some rest if you can.
