In regards to not letting engineers graduate. The sad thing is engineers aren’t even making this shit anymore. Engineers are making backends like “yo we can use this ai to detect precancerous” and then random business dudes take the technology and train it for bullshit
I want more truly unhinged shit off like sorting by controversial on r/trueoffmychest, r/dirtyconfessions, etc. If it's a post you accidentally see, we need to dive deeper
About the first thing. To be fair, your dog attacking your child vs your dog and someone you don't know are in danger are both completly different scenarios.
“They call me Weegee” damn is that Danny with an obscure reference to Are You Afraid of the Dark’s iconic episode “The Tale of Laughing in the Dark?” Nice one!
would you take a choice of $500k for the chance to save your spouse first, or would you take $1million for a higher chance to save the dog and a slightly lower chance to save your spouse. do you risk the higher chance something bad happened to spouse, or do you mitigate the risk by decreasing the chance of the best outcome of having dog and spouse in good health. I didn't think about it this way until you pointed out that the spouse is likely more able than a dog.
Okay but it is literally "chomping at the bit." The bit is the part of a horse's bridle that goes in the horse's mouth. A horse that's chomping at the bit is excited to rush forward.
"Champing" has an old meaning basically identical to chomping and is the one originally used in the phrase, but it literally does not matter which one you use now.
The first one still confuses me. Like, I understand that some people truly do see their pets as people. However, the lady goes as far as to say save the dog before even her? What?!?
This AI interview thing is a great invention! Let's me figure out what company I don't want to be hired by really fast. Maybe I'm oldschool, but if I had to apply for another job at some point, I wouldn't want to work for a company that can't even be bothered to introduce/ interview me in person.
Hold the fuck on, who the hell says CHAMPING at the bit?????????? I have and will have always say chomping at the bit I'm sorry that's the most crazy part of this podcast today.
Normally Id be a bit bummed we didn't get an argument but we also got some real fucking freaks in this, so I'd say it's balanced. Seriously though, Sigma Male No Nut Never After 2 Years About Blowing Out Back Walls guy and "Kill Me Before You Let My Dogs Die" Girl are just. The most.
What if the guy doesn't know that sex ISN'T important for him? He should talk with her and tell the truth to her and see what happens, nothing less nothing more nothing else
The thing to note about AI is that it's important to realize that everything you think it can't do it actually probably can because it's just so modular. You can attempt to model anything and turn that into an AI. Will it suck? Probably. But if there's an incentive and a market then people will continue to explore it and make it better. There are very few things that are doomed to fail provided you have enough support.
Absolutely INSANE that Jordan "Shove a nerd in a locker" is a Human Resources employee. He acts like such a tough guy every episode but he's the useless, wimpy most hated position in every single company by literally everyone else working there. I'm never taking anything he says seriously again
I have a friend who's into the nofap thing. He does the whole sex without cumming thing (just for him, not also for his wife) because he says that that tension makes him more productive. He was working 2 jobs for a while, works out and keeps his body fat at around 11%, and just graduated nursing school. But I don't know if that says more about nofap or about him.
Kinda crazy to think this has been going on for 16 weeks. Feels like it just started.
Really makes you realize how much of your life you're wasting and how fast you're dying

Holy shit is that THE Kashira Arise-Heart
Normie in relationship discovers gooning, you won't believe what happens next!
The most horrifying revelation this week is that apparently Joesph reads comments on these episodes.
Becky on the 1's and 2's, but we never ask HOW are the 1's and 2's?

Every single time I listen I swear there’s gotta be gas leak.
that second post is the most reddit writing ever holy shit
also shows the importance of foreplay
Wow! What a crossover! That first story is crazy! Can't believe you featured THE Sam Skarlon!

Statistically people are more likely to save a pet than a spouse
A spouse, theoretically, can save themselves. Pets, often, cannot.

Maybe for you but it's different for bonafide champs like the councel

I’ve never heard “champing at the bit” before in my life.

I got an ad right between "her" and "dogs" in the first story and I can only assume Joseph put it there in purpose
ending with a wheeze like that was lovely

"Fur babies" is a red flag
1. Correct
2. Correct
3. Correct
Bottle Night mentioned: 4 episodes (one on patreon)
see ya next time :)
I'd save Danny regardless of species. I'd save Peeps *explicitly* if he was a cute animal. I'd roast marshmallows over MBT regardless of species.
Any time someone says "If you loved me you'd _____" that gives me the ick, gtfo with that guilt trip shit

Champing is also a valid word to describe the way horses chew iirc
@manjackson2772 I do not care I am not a horse, I wholly believe the only reason champing works here is due to accents and nothing else
34:02 I’d like to personally thank you for your correction. We’re all proud of your personal growth.
AI guys really trying to reinvent the fortune teller machine
I need to know if the woman from the first post would intervene if the dog starting eating the niece

Really makes more sense to not vote on the relationship advice post and rather give an advice at the end

Bad editing on this one, feels jarring to listen to
