    As a brain cancer survivor/epileptic this strap has changed my life. It helps me tremendously in planning my workouts and when to dial back to avoid more seizures. It’s crazy how it tracks my night time mini episodes explaining why I’m exhausted that day

    This is amazing! Absolutely love whoop and what you guys are doing. I have bought whoop for my dad and brother and it’s fascinating to see how we all perform and recover differently. Hearing from Rory on how he uses his Whoop is so insightful and he’s just a huge inspiration!

    What an awesome person Rory is. Love that he’s able to self reflect and give us insight to great challenges in his life. Let’s all aspire to live with intent and with principle while being grateful and present. Thanks Whoop!

    This was a really enjoyable podcast, Rory seems a really smart, Zen kind of guy. I decided to switch off from most social media a few years ago and it helped my mental balance enormously.

    Great interview, love getting to hear more about the mindset of some of these guys! As a Dad of an 18 month old I'm not sure it would make pretty reading at the minute but I might think about getting involved when I have some more control over my sleep!

    I see so many similarities of Rory and myself physically. We both have a similar physical structure, both 5”10 at 160-170. I also have back problems at the age of 18-19, and I’ve had to implement hip stretching and physical strength in order to correct it.🤓

    I signed up to whoop while listening to this. Rory convinced me.

    He’s very analytical. I am similar in my life and career and I find it hard to create reasoning to contradict. Listening to him though I thought maybe he’s too invested in that process. Health and practice is important but there has to be diminishing returns in sports and life. It’s different for everyone and hard to quantify. Sometimes you just perform best when you’re care free. But I agree his route is best and I could be wrong:

    Great interview! Not a fan of the set up though, seems very formal how closely they're sat in front of each other.

    Kinda shows talent is a myth. The people who are the best at what they do are the ones who play or practice it the most from a young age usually. How many people do you know who played 3 18 hole rounds a day. And he did it all summer every year and hit more balls than anyone. Tiger woods hit more golf balls than anyone ever growing up thanks to his dad. And he was the best

    • @francisbaconstrip7224
      @francisbaconstrip7224 2 роки тому

      Yep. Tiger was literally a military project. Earls job was to train Tiger and play the divide and conquer game. Poor Tiger didn’t have the privileges of country club kids yet he played for free at the navy course. Plus range. Plus lessons. Not to mention the national tv coverage at 3yrs old. He was chosen for this role.
