I watched This movie many times , Rajkumar acting in negative role is very attractive , mind blowing because body language of brothers looking in different acting and mannarism . Rajkumar laughing seens are very attractive in negative roles.....

To all those falsely claiming Rajkumar drank alcohol in this movie... Sincere request you to re check the scene... He brings a glass of alcohol near his lips but doesn't drink it..he stops and continues to talk with Vajramuni.... I think there are 1 or 2 more instances again, where he does the same thing as you said (pours to the glass but never drinks it) This is tremendous sense! Just implied impact... This way you are only depicting wrong morale, but not forcing it on anyone...
If you think that they use real alcohol in movies them you are mistaken. It will be colourful sherbet or water. Alcohol is costly. So even if he drank it he wouldn't get inebriated. I am sure all people will understand that it just acting and not real life.

To all those falsely claiming Rajkumar drank alcohol in this movie... Sincere request you to re check the scene... He brings a glass of alcohol near his lips but doesn't drink it..he stops and continues to talk with Vajramuni.... Check if you have doubt...if u r lazy enough to check, the sequence comes at 49:30...
Yes, Dr. Rajkumar never drink alcohol in any move. He rejected devdas movie for that reason
I think there are 1 or 2 more instances again, where he does the same thing as you said (pours to the glass but never drinks it) This is tremendous sense! Just implied impact... This way you are only depicting wrong morale, but not forcing it on anyone...
If you think that they use real alcohol in movies them you are mistaken. It will be colourful sherbet or water. Alcohol is costly. So even if he drank it he wouldn't get inebriated. I am sure all people will understand that it just acting and not real life.

I am talking about the impact it creates/used to create on young minds ( especially in the 70s)... I know many people who were thrilled with smoking style of Ambareesh, Shatrugna Sinha, Amitabh & Rajnikanth and started imitating it..
Dr Rajkumar movie how many times we have seen no boring every time it looks new he is really born as a gift for kannadigas actually I was not knowing Kannada because I am from Andhra Pradesh madanapalle since the language was compulsory I started learning seeing hi movies perfect Kannada and slowly he speaks this film colouring picturization direction dialogues casting direction every thing good his voice for songs marvelous little bit resembles p b sreenivas Garu who is also legendary singer sir we should not have lost you so soon what to do we have got great respect love affection everything for you
