Their South African accents and mannerisms got stronger during the interview. I love it❤
Love it.
Thuso toned down her American accent as well 😄🤭
@@zandilenjoko3847 uYaphapha Zandile. She’s never had an American accent.

The Nigerian in me is sooo proud of them both!!!! Love to see Africans doing great things!!🇿🇦🇳🇬
As a South African , That’s one of the things I love about our Naija family. They applaud their fellow Africans when they do great things . We love you too Nigeria.

This is so heart warming to watch.Yes mzantsi 🇿🇦
Same here 😊
Trevor saying "wabona wena" and "Thuso wena" has to be the most South African thing in the entire interview cause even the accent was just Kasi 😂💕
GPS?
Also that "Bra" & "Eish" from Thuso 😂😂😂❤️

I am not South African and I caught that too hahah, suuuuch a wholesome interview ☺️

The most African thing about this interview was the final handshake. Most Africans shake the hands of elders with two hands as a sign of respect.
True. We greet elders like that
Trevor is older than she is.
In America, is just something a man with traditional values does to a woman worthy of respect and adoration.
@@jj51424 They're like 5 years apart even though she looks like a teenager.
I noticed that too. Couldn't be more proudly African! She is a well raised African woman who doesn't lose who she is.
THIS! 🤍
I just love how South Africans just took over the comment section …it’s so wonderful how we support our stars❤

Just amazing seeing South African artist making strides in the world
but isnt the IMPERILISTS just taking over the AFRICAN FILM INDUSTRY in order to CONTROL IT the same way they have CONTROLLED BLACK TALENT in America? WHY doesnt Africa CREATE ist own PARAMOUNT PICTURES and enlist BLACK TALENT in it to develop a FUTURE FILM INDUSTRY thatis TRULY African? These actos are busy PAYING OUT COLONIALIST narratives!...sp there is very little that is AFRICAN about all this, its just an IMPERIALISTIC TAKE OVER of the AFRICAN TALENT-Creative, Sports, Academia, everything and ENSURING the FUTURE of their own CHILDREN on the BACKS of IGNORANT BLACK AFRICA as they did to the AMERICAN BLACK...Japanese Chinese Indians etc ALL THRIVE AND MAKE IT BIG as THEIR OWN people but BLACKS are FULLY OWNED by the WHITE imperialists both in AMerica and now in AFRICA-thats the sad story of Africa
She is so captivating, beyond beautiful and I absolutely love the way she speaks 😍 great interview!
My wife and I wen to this movie and we both shed some tears.. mine was kinda something caught in my eyes but it was super great .. loved it
Was it ?🙃🧐 I saw you

I'm still salted that many people didn't get to watch her performance in " the Underground Railroad". Still gives me chills, to this day...
i think that's because of Amazon and how few great streaming shows they had when it came out, like people weren't taking them seriously as a video streamer even now I forget about them because HBO has better hype
@@KatieGray1 that could be a reason.
well Im definitely going to watch that now
@@boynamedlizz Same.
She was amazing in Underground Railroad. Reminded me of the great Ruby Dee.
Loved it. The more Trevor spoke, the more Thuso's accent moved back home lol. What a great girl! What a treasure and a gift to have someone so gifted and influencial knowing WHAT her gift and platform is for! Social change! What a great time to be alive!
Thuso's smile is so beautiful and such a hardworking person.
I had to google her because the movie was my first time seeing her and I thought who’s this beautiful young girl, the shock of finding out she’s actually in her 30s made me fall in love with her.
Black girls rock and she’s definitely one to watch.❤
Yea.. Seriously,. much love for Thuso💖

Trevor's Skills As A Host...Bar None...Priceless.
Trevor always does his homework, asks the right questions, Never a dull moment!
Thuso went to the same school as my younger sisters PMB GHS (which I didn't know) and is from my hometown Pietemaritzburg. But never knew that till she blew up globally. I hope this inspires the kids in Pietermaritzburg.

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched a movie twice in a row and it was mostly because of her. Amazing performance. Proud South African.
Not the South African in me getting excited when Thuso said "Eish".
Lovely interview!
I can't believe she's 31... Looks so young
Hehehe. It's only in Africa where people believe 31-year olds should look wrinkled and tired. She looks young and 31 IS young.
@@jacaranda100 I didn't say that. I mean she doesn't look 31 and yes 31 is young. But she looks more like a teenager or in her early 20s
@@demanny_ I know exactly what you mean she looks like she's in her early 20s,but I also agree with Jacaranda that in Africa we have a tendency of aging people, in some countries you'd be 40 and still be young.

What does it mean?
It something we say in different situations. Both negative n positive...e.g. Wena mara which directly translated means "really you" but you could be expressing disappointment
