Love the attention to cleanliness and other small details. That said, NEVER use anti seize on a spark plug with shiny threads. It already comes with a special coating from the factory to prevent seizing. Any anti seize used will act like a lubricant and will cause your torque specs to be off, ultimately over-torquing the spark plug. The only time anti-seize should be used is when the threads on a spark plug have a dull/matted, non-shiny/metallic finish. 😎👍🏼
This was super helpful changing my spark plugs for the first time on my 04 rav4. Everything made sense and you went slowly so I was able to keep up. Even 4 years later, still a very useful video. Thank you!
Great video TM. Not too sure about cleaning those holes with the plug removed for any crud (esp #2) can fall off your rag and into the cylinder no? I normally use some compressed air and clean while plug is installed. Keep the videos coming TM. Thanks again!
