    Growing up in Arizona, I've always been fascinated by the desert. That's why I am particularly interested in the BEDOUIN TRIBE of North Africa and the Middle East. Believe it or not, there are over 8 million bedouins (nomadic Arabs) living across 21 desert nations.
    Over the years, I have had some incredible experiences with bedouins in countries like Yemen, Oman, Sudan, Algeria, Mauritania, and Jordan - and today, I finally got around to telling you the story of the Bedouins while here in the Sinai peninsula of Egypt.
    All I have to say is that bedouins are some of the most open and hospitable people on earth -- they will force-feed you and serve you copious amounts of hot sugary tea. I really admire their lifestyles and I'm excited to share this story with you.

    This is so absolutely amazing to see & witness vicariously! Thank you so much for filming this video of these beautiful people and their humble simple lifestyle. It is my dream to visit the many various Bedouins & to spend a few months living among them, learning from them eating drinking and socialising with them. To me, they give the clearest evidence of what the indigenous ancient Israelites looked like and how they lived and dressed and how their language may have sounded. This is because they were also nomadic tent dwellers moving through the dessert. Its like living history! I cant wait to visit the Egyptian/Palestinian and Arabian Bedouins, and eat their delicious food. I aspire to live this kind of life. They work very hard, in the hot dessert sun, caring for livestock and finding immense pleasure in the simple things of life; a sunset, sea food music! Thats the way to live and the incredible unity among the different tribes. No issues over religion race or creed and its obvious how proud they are of their AMAZING ancient history. I am so thrilled by this. Thank you! Love to my Bedouin brothers & sisters from the UK🥰😍❤ We have so much to learn from you😘😘😘

    There is also Bedouins in the Levantine (Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan) and plenty of them as well. I myself am from a Lebanese Bedouin tribe. Keep up the good work ❣

      I’m from Egypt but no Bedouin. I always wondered where did Bedouin’s come from I heard that there all from Saudi Arabia I may be wrong can you tell me

    • @KhalidAlawi
      @KhalidAlawi 4 роки тому +4

      @@MESSI-fx1ob Bedouins have no country in which they come from. They have been roaming the deserts and mountains of the middle east for 3000 years and bedouins. The middle east is from the Arabian Peninsula (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen and Oman) and the Levantine ( Syria, Lebanon, Iraq Palestine and Jordan) and even North Africa like Egypt.

    • @MESSI-fx1ob

      Khalid Alawi do you know where they descended from cause in Egypt our Bedouin’s are much darker and their hair is much straighter they look very similar to Saudi Arabians. I really love the Bedouin’s I went Sinai for vacation I couldn’t believe how nice they were at times I thought they were joking.

    • @KhalidAlawi
      @KhalidAlawi 4 роки тому +3

      @@MESSI-fx1ob They can be descendants from where ever just like how some Egyptians are darker and some are lighter. Its the same thing with Bedouins. Although the stereotype is that Bedouins are dark. My tribe consists of people with blue and green eyes and we are Bedouin. They are just descendants of Arabs just like how there are dark and light coloured arabs its the same with every race.

    Last year I stayed in a small port town near Marsa Alam and met some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Great people the Egyptians, hard working and super friendly. Also had some tea with a Bedouin tribe, alot of sugar but still nice tea. Anyway, thanks for the video Drew. Your videos never fail to entertain me and light up my day!

    Back in 2011 I went to Masada in Israel. A bedouin had this huge tent that he had gave tourists good food. he gave us coffee where his family had grown and roasted the beans. They put a lot of sugar in it and served it. It was absolutely the best hands down coffee I ever had in my life. I kept eating I couldn't stop their food is so delicious. people asked him if he only had one wife and he said as a Muslim he can have four but his wife is more than he can handle. So he just keeps one. He made that joke in Hebrew for the group and then in English.
    Good times.
