Ikaruga is the game that made me think I really liked shmups. Turns out: not really, I just love Ikaruga. Also! EXCUSE ME! Fun and Good are different things! Sifu is a very serious game that wants you to play really well, En Garde!'s vibe is more "hey just go and have fun" At least Can of Wormhole's in the list so my sacrifice wasn't in vain 🤠

I could see En Garde coming, but Echo Point is a fast twitch shooter that might be hard to play on console. You don't typically see indies like that outside of steam
