The Gospel for 2-5 year olds

This is how I told the gospel to my son when he was 2-5 years old. It gave him the basics in ways he could understand and pointed him to Jesus. He's been able to seamlessly learn more of the details to the story as he's gotten older, but he still loves this version (he's 7 at the time this was written). He always loves the part about Jesus defeating death.
Parents, you will need to explain that when our bodies die, our spirits go to be with God. That part doesn't fit well into the story, so I explained it separately to my son. Hopefully this helps you talk to your kids about Jesus, and I pray blessings and wisdom for you as you raise your children. Feel free to pray for me too because we all need it, right?
