About Dr. Oakley Yukon Vet:
Every day is a new challenge for Dr. Michelle Oakley, the only all-species vet for hundreds of miles in the Yukon. Wolverine he is my favorite animal
OK, I admit I love animals. That said, I am in my 70's and suffering from bad arthritis in my knees. I can't afford to get the state of the art treatment that this animal got. Animals are important but isn't human healthcare more important?
Both healthcare is important... Tell ur local government to revamp the American healthcare system
Yeah, good luck with that. I live 6 months a year in Central America and i get better health care down there than I do in the good ole USA.@@katherinejacoby5915
This is filmed in Canada
And it's from 2017
I understand. I have a severe autoimmune disease that is killing me. There are therapies but I can’t afford them. Those of us on disability or who have lower incomes often suffer.

calling any animal, training them to come at your command and then darting them which startles, hurts a bit....will ruin the trust, won't it? and then tgey won't come next time you call them! takes a LONG time to regain trust, if ever, especially with wild animals. imho

The video is really interesting! 🐾🩺 The story of the wolverine is told with authenticity and appeal, with Dr. Oakley's expert perspective.
You might like to read "The Wolverine Way" - a book written by Douglas Chadwick who was a participant in a wolverine study in Glacier National Park in the early 2000s which lasted for some years. The amount of information hitherto unknown about wolverines this study gathered is amazing.
