the reason the engine shut off is because you slammed the brakes on a car with no ABS and a manual transmission with it in gear without pushing the clutch. of COURSE it shuts the engine off.
The engine shut off because you locked up your brakes in a manual transmission with no clutch, additionally without esc (traction control) limit throttle if your wheels are spinning not extremely low but ideally just before wheel spin for optimal acceleration.
